2016年2月18日、京都・北野天満宮。
梅は満開の手前だった。
だが、この頃の私は、梅よりも野鳥に出会っていた。

境内に現れたシロハラ。
枝に降り、地を歩き、餌を探す静かな時間。
そして、ヒヨドリの食事の瞬間。
Windowsのスライドショーでこそ生きる、確かな動きがそこにあった。

この映像は、花ではなく、
野鳥と遭遇していた日々の記録である。

A Time of Birds, Not Blossoms

February 18, 2016, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, Kyoto.
The plum blossoms were not yet in full bloom.
But at that time, my days belonged not to flowers, but to birds.

A White’s Thrush appeared quietly in the precincts,
descending from branches to the ground,
walking, pausing, and searching for food.
Then came the feeding scene of the Brown-eared Bulbul—
a moment of living movement, perfectly revealed through a Windows slideshow.

This video is not a record of blossoms,
but a record of days spent encountering wild birds.
