大阪・梅田の午後から夜にかけて撮影した作品である。
使用した音楽は、レスピーギの《ローマの松》。

高校三年生になった時、私の道は突然閉ざされた。
その日以来、私は朝から晩までNHKFMでクラシックを聴いて過ごした。
その頃、とても好きだった曲が、レスピーギの《ローマの松》と《ローマの噴水》だった。

今、こうして書いていて、私は改めて、何という事だと思った。
私が、それまでの「眺望」から、「文明のターンテーブル」という「超越」に至った時間は、すでにあの頃から流れ始めていたのである。

東京芸大を卒業し、ローマで暮らしていた同級生の画家に、いずれ店頭登録する流れに在った弊社のコーポレートアイデンティティを依頼していた。
その件でローマに滞在した8日間は、私にとって決定的な時間となった。
シーザーが勝利の行進をしたアッピア街道を、親友の車で通った時、時間は一つに繋がった。

天才の時間は続いている。
常に、「眺望」から「超越」に至る時間が流れているのである。

本作品は、その感覚を、2026年3月26日の大阪・梅田の午後の光、夕景、そして夜景の中に刻んだ映像詩である。
日本のプロ野球とMLBが開幕する前日という、ひとつの高揚が世界に満ちる日に、私は都市の光と時間の連なりを見つめた。
ローマに憧れ、ローマに触れ、そして梅田の空と光の中で、その記憶が再び呼び起こされた。

This work was filmed from afternoon into night in Osaka’s Umeda district.
The music is Respighi’s Pines of Rome.

When I became a third-year high school student, my path was suddenly closed off.
From that day on, I spent my days listening to classical music on NHK FM from morning until night.
Among the pieces I loved most at that time were Respighi’s Pines of Rome and Fountains of Rome.

As I write this now, I am struck again by the magnitude of it.
The time that led me from “vision” to the transcendence I later called The Turntable of Civilization had already begun to flow in those years.

A former classmate of mine from Tokyo University of the Arts, a painter living in Rome, had been asked to create the corporate identity for my company, which was then moving toward retail registration.
Because of that project, I stayed in Rome for eight days.
Those eight days became decisive in my life.
When I passed along the Appian Way in a close friend’s car, the very road on which Caesar made his triumphal march, time itself became connected.

The time of genius continues.
There is always a current flowing from vision toward transcendence.

This film is a visual poem that inscribes that sensation into the afternoon light, twilight, and nightscape of Osaka Umeda on March 26, 2026.
On the eve of the opening of both Japanese professional baseball and Major League Baseball, a day filled with a sense of expectancy, I turned my gaze to the continuity of urban light and time.
What once drew me toward Rome, what I experienced in Rome, was awakened once more in the sky and light of Umeda.
