The other day, I believe it was the Nikkei, that published a feature article about a woman who had started a business in South Korea.
The article stated, unusually for the Japanese mass media, that South Korea is an intensely male-dominated society.
Perhaps it presented this rare fragment of the truth because the overwhelming majority of Japanese people would probably never read it.
Even so, like the Asahi Shimbun and NHK, this reporter did not properly convey the truth.
South Korea is not merely a male-dominated society.
It is a society based on male supremacy and the subordination of women.
As I have already written, this explains why South Korean female professional golfers came to dominate women’s professional golf in the United States.
The outstanding success of Se Ri Pak gave a genuine ray of hope to South Korean women living in a society of hopeless male supremacy and female subordination.
It offered a way to escape the South Korean hell known as “Hell Korea,” regardless of whether they were beautiful or unattractive.
In a society based on male supremacy and the subordination of women, beauty and ugliness are matters of life and death.
That is why South Korea is a cosmetic-surgery superpower, where an inconceivably large number of people, by Japanese standards, undergo cosmetic surgery.
But I digress.
It was also a solution for their families.
South Korean female professional golfers are strong because they compete while carrying the happiness of their families on their shoulders.
By contrast, the source of the Japanese golfer Shibuno’s strength—and the reason she won the Women’s British Open on her very first appearance—was precisely the opposite of that of the South Korean female professionals.
Japan’s female professional golfers are Japanese women, Yamato Nadeshiko, from a country where women have been the happiest in the world throughout recorded history.
The emergence of Ai Miyazato ignited a passion for golf in the hearts of Japan’s children, the wealthiest children in the world.
Shibuno was a woman with outstanding athletic ability who had also demonstrated extraordinary talent in softball.
More importantly, however, she grew up in what might be called a distinguished family home that was more than 120 years old.
She grew up soundly under the care of her grandparents and parents, whose warm and well-rounded personalities were evident.
That is why she is utterly unflappable.
She is a Japanese woman who lives within the tradition of Murasaki Shikibu, Sei Shōnagon, and others from more than 1,000 years ago—a tradition far older than Britain.
Britain was nothing more than a fart to her.
The traditions of Japan extending throughout recorded history were present in the everyday life in which she was raised.
Combined with her athletic ability, those traditions came into full bloom.
Her carefree spirit becomes even greater when spectators are present.
A smile is the best way to relax the muscles and prevent mistakes in athletic performance.
Matches played without spectators diminish her strength.
The Asahi Shimbun is already beyond discussion, but NHK is likewise nothing more than a mass of pseudo-moralism.
NHK never reports that South Korea has been a society of intense male supremacy and female subordination since the days of the Joseon dynasty.
After all, South Korean women did not even have names until Yi Wan-yong brought about the annexation with Japan.
As I have already written, South Korean women were the private property of the yangban and were not treated as proper human beings.
Some time ago, an NHK news program featured the fact that a book written by a woman in South Korea, touching upon part of this reality, had become a bestseller.
The attractive but poorly educated and ignorant female news presenter remarked, “I felt as though it applied to me as well,” fully displaying the one skill at which she excels: denigrating Japan through her habitual self-denigrating view of history.
In other words, she was implying that Japan, like South Korea, is also a society that discriminates against women.
And this came from a female employee earning an average annual salary of 17 million yen.
Who is spreading propaganda throughout the international community that Japan is a society that discriminates against women, while attacking Japan at the United Nations?
It is South Korea, the world’s worst society of male supremacy and female subordination.
As usual, those who support this within Japan are the traitors who inhabit the country—professors at the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University, etc.; lawyers such as Kenichi Takagi and Yuichi Kaido, for whom it would not be an exaggeration to say that attacking the Japanese government is their profession; and so-called citizens’ groups.
A woman calling herself Kumi Sasaki, who is unmistakably a Korean resident of Japan and visibly appears to have undergone extensive cosmetic surgery, deliberately published an absurd book in Paris claiming that Japan is a nation of molesters and that this had ruined her life.
Ignorant and benighted racists living in Paris joined her and attacked Japan through the French media.
As I have already written, I became incandescent with rage at the time and denounced those French people.

Like the Asahi Shimbun, these people are embodiments of a self-denigrating view of history—abnormal individuals who take pleasure in denigrating Japan while criticizing its politics and diplomacy under the guise of being the conscience of the nation.
The time has long since come for the Japanese people to realize that this is Japan’s greatest weakness and its cancer.
I used to be an ardent admirer of France, but since this incident, I have viewed the French people with a disillusioned eye.
It was also the French who, deceived by China, built the virus research institute in Wuhan.
Now even Macron has been infected.
