To a Süddeutsche Zeitung Reporter: Would You Endorse Slander Against Your Own Country? — Japan’s Honor and the Responsibility of the Press

Sometime after August four years ago, I learned that a German newspaper called Süddeutsche Zeitung, apparently regarded as a leading newspaper in Germany, had apparently been repeatedly publishing anti-Japanese articles drawing on anti-Japanese articles from The Japan Times and the Asahi Shimbun.
Soon afterward, I saw figures from a public opinion poll in Germany indicating that approximately half of Germans held anti-Japanese views.
I want to say this to the reporter who has continued to write anti-Japanese articles for Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Suppose France or Poland behaved like China or the countries of the Korean Peninsula, constantly engaging in anti-German propaganda and continuing to carry out activities around the world that continually damaged Germany’s honor and credibility internationally.
If you regard the Asahi Shimbun, The Japan Times, and similar outlets as representatives of Japan’s intellect or as trustworthy media, would you, like them, not only endorse slander against your own country but also give extensive worldwide coverage to numerous fabricated articles to serve anti-German propaganda, continuing to provide those countries with ideal material for attacking Germany?
And would you want to be the media backbone of traitors who go running to the United Nations so that countries constantly engaging in anti-German propaganda can dominate the UN and have it issue human rights recommendations against Germany?
You, the reporter who has continued to write anti-Japanese articles for Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Are you among the most shameful people in this world, on a par with the Asahi Shimbun, NHK, and others of that kind?
