Roosevelt and Hrdlička—Masayuki Takayama Examines the Background to the Occupation Constitution and the Eugenic Protection Law, and the Truth Concealed to Defend the Constitution

Campbell wrote home that the president “frequently brandished Hrdlička’s theories.”
Repost! They must conceal the truth to defend the Constitution. They are truly shameful people.
The following is from Masayuki Takayama’s book “Japanese People! Wake Up,” subtitled “See Through the Lies of Putin, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong-un, and the Asahi Shimbun,” published on September 1, 2022.
This essay, too, proves that he is a journalist without equal in the postwar world.
Quite some time ago, an elderly female professor at the Royal Ballet School of Monaco, who was deeply respected by prima ballerinas around the world, visited Japan.
The following are the words she spoke then about the significance of artists’ existence.
“Artists are important because they are the only people who can shed light on concealed, hidden truths and express them.”
Surely no one would object to her words.
It is no exaggeration whatsoever to say that Masayuki Takayama is not only a journalist without equal in the postwar world but also an artist without equal in the postwar world.
On the other hand, Ōe… I do not wish to speak ill of the deceased, but—to follow Takayama’s example below—many people such as Murakami who call themselves writers and imagine themselves to be artists do not even deserve the name of artist.
This is because, far from shedding light on concealed, hidden truths and expressing them, they have merely expressed lies fabricated by the Asahi Shimbun and others.
People like them must exist in the same way not only in Japan but also in countries throughout the world.
In other words, only a very small number of true artists exist.
This essay, too, splendidly proves the correctness of my statement that, in today’s world, no one is more deserving of the Nobel Prize in Literature than Masayuki Takayama.
Essential reading not only for the Japanese people but also for people throughout the world.
Both the Occupation Constitution and the Eugenic Protection Law Were Cunning GHQ Conspiracies
F. Roosevelt Said He Would “Confine Japan to Four Islands and Let It Decline and Perish”
Eradicated Through White Supremacy
Shortly after becoming president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) began cultivating a close friendship with Aleš Hrdlička, an anthropologist at the Smithsonian Institution.
The Czech-born Hrdlička was a fanatical white supremacist and therefore loathed the yellow-skinned Japanese as he would snakes and scorpions.
When FDR delivered his so-called Quarantine Speech condemning Japan and Germany in 1937, Hrdlička, who sympathized with it, immediately sent the president a letter.
“The Japanese may wear the trappings of civilization, but their recent conduct is full of treachery and barbarity. They are pirates of an island nation” (Christopher Thorne, “The Pacific War from the British and American Perspectives”), he wrote, reviling them in the strongest terms.
He followed this by urging war: “Rouse our people and make them take up arms against Japan, whatever obstacles there may be,” and “Simply standing idly by would be an eternal disgrace.”
When FDR asked, “Why are the Japanese so savage?” Hrdlička replied, “Because the development of Japanese skulls is two thousand years behind ours.”
This apparently satisfied FDR, and thereafter he proceeded to drag Japan into war in order to crush it, believing himself to be acting in the interests of global justice.
However, both FDR and Secretary of the Navy Frank Knox were convinced that “once war begins, we can wipe Japan off the map of the earth in three months.”
In reality, however, they were thoroughly beaten by the Japanese.
The United States lost its Pacific Fleet, Britain had the Prince of Wales sunk, and the combined British, Australian, and Dutch Allied fleet in the Indian Ocean was also destroyed.
In 1943, having somehow managed to recover, FDR invited the British minister Ronald Campbell to his private residence at Hyde Park and explained his views on Asia after Japan’s defeat.
Campbell wrote home that the president “frequently brandished Hrdlička’s theories.”
A Third Pillar of the Postwar Settlement Existed
During this conversation, FDR said, “To improve the inferior Asians, we will interbreed the (superior) Aryan peoples of Europe and America with Asians and create a splendid civilization.”
As for how to bring about this interbreeding, they would follow the example of “the Spaniards of the sixteenth century.”
White men would rape Asian women.
White women being embraced by Asian men was not envisaged.
However, if Asian men and women had intercourse of their own accord, racial improvement would not advance.
Therefore, Asian men would be disposed of.
Killing them would make the Americans no different from the Spaniards, but these Americans considered themselves civilized.
FDR suggested “the method Hitler used.”
“It is extremely simple and entirely painless. Have them pass through a narrow passage. There is an electrical apparatus there, and if they remain for twenty seconds, the Asian men will no longer be able to father children,” the president said.
However, he said he was “not considering” interbreeding between Japanese and Westerners.
The minister concluded his report: “FDR’s idea appears to be to isolate the Japanese on their original four islands and allow them gradually to decline.”
The principal pillars of MacArthur’s postwar settlement were a constitution that would neutralize the “savage Japanese (whose skull development was two thousand years behind)” through the “renunciation of war potential and the right of belligerency,” and a self-denigrating view of history, but there was actually a third pillar.
It was what became FDR’s final injunction: “Confine Japan to four islands and let it decline and perish.”
The Eugenic Protection Law Was Enacted and Its Influence Spread
Near the end of the war, even though the outcome had already been decided, burning cities throughout Japan, dropping atomic bombs, and strafing even children were among the measures taken to “eradicate the Japanese.”
GHQ considered the sterilization advocated by FDR as a shortcut to Japan’s decline, but implementing it was, unsurprisingly, difficult.
The next-best option was birth control.
They would have family planning promoted thoroughly while spreading ideas similar to those of Marcuse and others, such as “liberating women from childbirth and child-rearing.”
Fortunately, there was a woman who fitted those ideas perfectly.
She was Shizue Katō, who established the Japan Birth Control League in 1931, proclaimed, “Let us liberate women from childbirth and child-rearing and enjoy sex,” and, even before Hitler, cried, “Bad stock becomes a burden on society, so sterilize it.”
GHQ had Shizue run in the first postwar House of Representatives election.
“Persuaded by a GHQ general” (Shizue’s autobiography), her election was assured.
In the following year’s House of Councillors election, too, Jiichirō Matsumoto, Sanzō Nosaka, and others were elected after being designated by GHQ.
GHQ decided both the candidates and who would win or lose.
One of the bills deliberated under those circumstances was the Eugenic Protection Bill, intended to secure the “freedom of abortion and the sterilization of bad stock” advocated by Shizue.
Many legislators opposed it, asking why they should imitate Hitler at that point, but they could not defy GHQ.
The bill passed.
The Eugenic Protection Law functioned fully, and Marcuse’s “sexual freedom” was also spread in classrooms by the Japan Teachers’ Union.
Even if junior high school students became pregnant, they could simply have abortions under the Eugenic Protection Law.
Meanwhile, accounts were heard here and there of parents who, concerned about the futures of their children with disabilities, also turned to this law.
Seventy years later, the Asahi Shimbun began holding the state responsible, saying that some people had been forcibly sterilized under the Eugenic Protection Law.
The foolish Constitutional Democratic Party, too, enthusiastically declared, “We will include an apology in the preamble to the bill to provide relief for the victims.”
Will They Conceal Even the Truth to Defend the Constitution?
It is all very well to blame the state in this way, but why do neither the media nor legislators investigate the origins of that reprehensible law?
If they investigated, they would discover that its originator was the GHQ-approved Shizue Katō, that the Socialist and Communist parties actively supported this evil Eugenic Protection Law, and that the Asahi Shimbun, too, conveyed GHQ’s wishes to the public as the voice of God.
People make mistakes.
Why ignore them when they could simply acknowledge them honestly?
It is because that MacArthur Constitution is among the bills Shizue Katō and others deliberated on and passed.
Defenders of the Constitution have said, “Even if it was an imposed constitution, it was properly deliberated on in the Diet.”
However, if many of those in the legislature had been selected through GHQ interference, that claim, too, would collapse.
To defend the Constitution, they must conceal the truth.
What disgraceful people.
