京都・嵯峨野に位置する、二尊院、常寂光寺、大河内山荘。
紅葉が最も深い色相へと沈み込む一日であった。
本作は、この日の三箇所を巡り撮影した紅葉写真によって構成された映像作品である。
音楽は、
① 五嶋みどり：J.S.バッハ《無伴奏ヴァイオリン・ソナタ第2番》
② グレン・グールド：J.S.バッハ《イタリア協奏曲》
ただ、紅葉と音楽が、同じ密度で「在る」瞬間を捉えるための作品である。
記録ではない。
永久保存を目的として構成された、一篇の映像作品である。

Nison-in, Jōjakkō-ji, and Ōkōchi Sansō in Saga, Kyoto.
A day when the autumn leaves sank into their deepest tonal register.
This film is composed of photographs taken while moving through these three locations on that day.
The music consists of:

1. Midori performing J.S. Bach’s Sonata No. 2 for Solo Violin.
2. Glenn Gould performing J.S. Bach’s Italian Concerto.
   This work seeks only to capture the moment in which autumn foliage and music exist with equal density.
