2025年5月2日に撮影した金沢兼六園の写真と、YoshikiがYouTubeに掲載してくれていた「Endless Rain」によって構成した作品である。
This is a work composed of photographs I took at Kenrokuen in Kanazawa on May 2, 2025, together with “Endless Rain,” which Yoshiki had uploaded to YouTube.
さっきワシントンで開催された日米首脳会談の模様をYouTubeでノーカット版で観た。
I watched on YouTube the uncut footage of the Japan-U.S. summit meeting that was held in Washington a short while ago.
その後で、夕食会が始まる前の会場に流れていたのがX JapanのRusty Nailという曲であるとのXが出て来た。
After that, a post on X appeared saying that the song playing at the venue before the dinner reception began was X Japan’s Rusty Nail.
その場面を視聴した。
I watched that scene.
YouTubeは既にオールドメディアを凌駕している。
YouTube has already surpassed the old media.
「驚くべき一日だった。Yoshiki、BABYMETAL…」と題して3/15に「文明のターンテーブル」に発信した。
Under the title “It was an astonishing day. Yoshiki, BABYMETAL…” I posted on March 15 on “The Turntable of Civilization.”
BABYMETALがハッシュタグランク1位、その他の言葉も軒並みランクインしていた。
BABYMETAL ranked first in the hashtag rankings, and the other words also ranked one after another.
YouTubeでX JapanのRusty Nailを検索している内に彼らのラストライブHDが出て来た。
While searching for X Japan’s Rusty Nail on YouTube, their Last Live HD came up.
Yoshikiのドラムを初めて聴いたが…凄い…。
I heard Yoshiki’s drums for the first time, and they were incredible…
彼のドラムがX Japanの生命線だったのだろう。
His drums must have been the lifeline of X Japan.
激しく首を動かし続けた結果としてだろう…。
Probably as a result of having continued to move his head violently…
首にコルセット、上半身は裸…。
A corset around his neck, his upper body bare…
世界的に人気を博したのも当然だったわけである。
It was only natural that they had achieved worldwide popularity.
上記の章は、その日、wowowライブで、Yoshiki念願のカーネギーホールでのコンサートライブを視聴した事が契機だった。
The chapter above was prompted by my having watched, on that day, the concert live at Carnegie Hall, which Yoshiki had long desired, on WOWOW Live.
有難い事に、最後の場面であるEndless RainをYoshikiがYouTubeに掲載してくれていた。
Thankfully, Yoshiki had uploaded to YouTube Endless Rain, the final scene.
早速、登録した。
I promptly subscribed.
この曲を、2025/5/2、金沢兼六園の写真集と共に作成した。
I created this together with a photo collection of Kenrokuen, Kanazawa, 2025/5/2.
写真集とYouTube掲載の時間が殆ど一緒だった。
The time when I created the photo collection and the time it was uploaded to YouTube were almost the same.
