2026年6月10日、12日に撮影した長居植物園と京都府立植物園、さらに尾道の風景を加えた写真集動画である。
満開の薔薇園、アジサイ園、ダリア苑、緑の中に姿を見せたメジロ、そして紫陽花の上に忽然と出現したイモリ。
初夏の日本が持つ、生命の輝きと静かな驚異を、一つの作品としてまとめた。
音楽には、今日、偶然YouTubeで発見したHimariによるブルッフ《ヴァイオリン協奏曲第1番》を使用した。
スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団との演奏である。
今夜、私は名古屋で中野りなによるブルッフを聴く。
その日に、Himariのブルッフを発見したことは、私にとって最高の偶然であり、最高の予習であり、最高の啓示だった。
だからこそ、急遽この作品を制作した。
薔薇、紫陽花、ダリア、尾道の光、水辺の記憶、そして小さな命の出現。
そこに、若き天才が奏でるブルッフの旋律が重なる。
日本の初夏の美と、音楽の青春が、ここで一つになった。
これは、私にとって、今日という日に制作するほかなかった写真集動画である。

This is a photo collection video composed of images taken on June 10 and June 12, 2026, at Nagai Botanical Garden and Kyoto Botanical Garden, with scenes from Onomichi added to them.
A rose garden in full bloom, a hydrangea garden, a dahlia garden, a Japanese white-eye appearing among the greenery, and a newt that suddenly appeared on top of a hydrangea.
I gathered into one work the brilliance of life and the quiet wonder that early summer in Japan possesses.
For the music, I used Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, performed by Himari, which I happened to discover on YouTube today.
It is a performance with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
Tonight, I will hear Bruch in Nagoya, performed by Rina Nakano.
To discover Himari’s Bruch on this very day was, for me, the finest coincidence, the finest preparation, and the finest revelation.
That is why I made this work at once.
Roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, the light of Onomichi, memories of the water, and the appearance of a small life.
Over them is laid the melody of Bruch, performed by a young genius.
The beauty of early summer in Japan and the youth of music become one here.
For me, this is a photo collection video that had to be made on this very day.
