My Deep Contempt for the Kyoto Citizens Who Elected Tetsuro Fukuyama

Kyoto is, without exaggeration, my second hometown, and I once spent countless days photographing its seasons and its world of flowers, birds, wind, and moon. Yet after hearing Tetsuro Fukuyama’s questioning in the Diet, I felt deep contempt and anger toward the Kyoto citizens who elected him. This article questions the attacks on the government over PCR testing, Japanese media aligned with South Korea, and the true nature of the Constitutional Democratic Party.

However, I deeply despise only the Kyoto citizens who elected Tetsuro Fukuyama to the Diet.
So much so that I do not even wish to visit the areas where there are people who voted for him.
It is no exaggeration to say that Kyoto is my second hometown.
Even after I chose Osaka as the stage of my life, I rediscovered Kyoto on three separate occasions.
Until I fell seriously ill in May 2011 and spent seven months in the hospital, I visited Kyoto every weekend and photographed Kyoto’s four seasons.
After I was discharged from the hospital on December 16, 2011, I spent 300 days out of the 365 days of the year visiting all over Kyoto.
With my beloved camera in hand, I lived in Kyoto’s world of flowers, birds, wind, and moon.
Of course, I also visited Shiga, including Mount Hiei, Ishiyamadera, and Miidera, and Nara, including Horyuji, Yakushiji, Toshodaiji, Todaiji, Nigatsudo, Kasuga Taisha, the wisteria of Manyo Botanical Garden, Hasedera, and Murouji.
But the time I spent amid Kyoto’s flowers, birds, wind, and moon was overwhelmingly greater.
Among people who do not live in Kyoto, I was probably the person who visited Kyoto more than anyone else in the world.
After all, there was even one year in which I spent as many as 100 days photographing the spring, summer, autumn, and winter of Tenryuji in Arashiyama.
However, I deeply despise only the Kyoto citizens who elected Tetsuro Fukuyama to the Diet.
So much so that I do not even wish to visit the areas where there are people who voted for him.
Any decent Japanese person who heard the content of his questions in today’s Diet session would surely agree with me.
Against Japan and the Japanese people, who are now dealing with the Wuhan virus better than any country in the world, this man—truly a contemptible person who acts against the nation—attacked Prime Minister Abe by citing absurd figures and speaking as if Japan’s number of infections were false.
South Korea, having failed disastrously in its initial response, began PCR testing as an excuse and in order to degrade Japan, propagandizing it through malicious spectacles such as drive-through testing, as if to show it off.
Media outlets such as the Asahi Shimbun and NHK, which are in line with South Korea, joined in, seized upon this, and began attacking the administration.
After their attacks over the cherry blossom viewing party were naturally rejected by the people, the Constitutional Democratic Party finally had its mask torn away…they themselves exposed their true identity as a party that acts against the nation, a party that degrades Japan and lowers Japan’s national power, a party that sides with China and South Korea.
Today, the above-mentioned Fukuyama added yet another layer to that.
In Kyoto, there was an era when Kyoto University was worthless…when Kumano Dormitory, which is national property, was allowed, without hesitation, to house Song Du-hoe, who had nothing whatsoever to do with Kyoto University, and became a factory for fabricating the Sakhalin lawsuit and the comfort women issue.
The product of the era when foolish leftists held their heads high and ruled Kyoto, and of the era when Communist Party prefectural government continued for a long time…in other words, what proves just how mistaken that was, is Tetsuro Fukuyama and the Kyoto citizens who voted for him.
Every decent person in Japan must feel like vomiting at this man.
They must not only feel like vomiting, but must also feel anger from the bottom of their hearts.
