Jun Azumi and the NHK Network: Reading the Abnormal Posture of Watch 9
This article focuses on the fact that Jun Azumi was formerly an NHK employee, that he and Kensuke Okoshi were contemporaries, and that Yoshio Arima was their junior. Through this network, it examines the posture of NHK reporting, especially Watch 9. It also discusses, through a remark by Masashi Sada, the shadow of public-opinion manipulation and information control surrounding the novel coronavirus that originated in China.

I was astonished.
This man, incredibly, was once an NHK employee.
Jun Azumi and Okoshi were contemporaries and friends.
Arima was their junior by about three years.
That is probably the reason for the present posture of Watch 9.
The other day, a friend of mine, one of the most avid readers I know, said, “Jun Azumi is terrible…”
For some reason, every time I see this man’s face, which NHK so frequently shows, or read the words and deeds of Noriko Ishigaki, I feel that, for the first time in my life, my pride in being from Miyagi Prefecture has been wounded.
There is no need to argue that Jun Azumi is a second-rate or third-rate man, but as for this man, all I knew was that he was from Ishinomaki and, if I remember correctly, had gone from Ishinomaki High School to Waseda, so I searched for him.
I was astonished.
This man, incredibly, was once an NHK employee.
In other words, after graduating from Waseda, he joined NHK.
Something immediately struck me.
Could this man have been in the same cohort as Okoshi?
When I searched, that was exactly the case.
In other words, Jun Azumi and Okoshi were contemporaries and friends.
Arima was their junior by about three years.
That is probably the reason for the present posture of Watch 9.
I almost never watch television during the daytime, but yesterday, after watching the midday news and leaving the channel as it was, a live broadcast program appeared, featuring Masashi Sada and Shigeru Izumiya.
I have no particular likes or dislikes toward Masashi Sada, but I was appalled by his comment yesterday.
“The virus came from outer space… therefore, there is no use in quarrelling with one another…”
China’s propaganda is truly tremendous, I thought.
It knows perfectly well the position that Masashi Sada occupies, or the position in which he appears, in ordinary Japanese living rooms, and it has properly carried out information manipulation upon him, or upon those around him.
It is an evil of China that makes one shudder.
