The Chinese Communist Party’s Disaster Profiteering and “Wolf Warrior” Diplomacy—Using the Wuhan Virus as a Foothold for Global Domination
The Chinese Communist regime exploited the spread of the Wuhan virus, using masks and medical supplies as diplomatic bargaining tools while advancing its hegemonic ambitions in the South China Sea and around the Senkaku Islands.
Kumiko Takeuchi and Seki Hei expose the true nature of China’s “wolf warrior” diplomacy, propaganda operations, responsibility-shifting, and campaign to portray Xi Jinping as both China’s savior and the savior of the world.

The world, and Japan in particular, must recognize the true nature of the Chinese Communist regime.
China is conducting a new propaganda campaign against Western countries.
The following is a continuation of the preceding chapter.
All emphasis within the text, apart from the headings, is mine.
*This article also makes it clear how those who control NHK’s news division have repeatedly produced reports that benefit China*
Looting Amid a Disaster
Takeuchi
China is turning the spread of the Wuhan virus to its advantage and attempting to use it as a foothold for global domination.
A symbolic example was China’s proposal to France, which was suffering from a shortage of masks, that China would supply one billion masks in return for France purchasing Chinese 5G, or fifth-generation mobile communications, equipment.
China has also restricted exports of medical supplies, established new administrative districts in the South China Sea, and repeatedly intruded into Japan’s territorial waters around the Senkaku Islands.
Seki Hei
It is nothing other than looting amid a disaster.
Indeed, because China itself effectively started the fire, its conduct is even more malicious.
When China attempted to advance its hegemonic strategy, the United States stood in its way as a formidable presence.
For the Chinese Communist Party, power is everything.
It behaves tyrannically toward the weak, but takes great care to watch the reactions of the strong.
Now, believing that the United States has been weakened by the Wuhan virus, China has begun rampaging without restraint.
Takeuchi
The world, and Japan in particular, must recognize the true nature of the Chinese Communist regime.
China is conducting a new propaganda campaign against Western countries.
Because Europe and the United States have been exhausted by the coronavirus, China has adopted a relatively more overbearing attitude.
In the Sankei Shimbun, you also described it as “wolf warrior,” or belligerent, diplomacy in an article dated April 30.
At the same time, China is carrying out its propaganda war without overlooking a single opportunity.
Seki Hei
Looking at Chinese newspapers and television news since April, they have reported virtually nothing about the current situation inside Wuhan.
Meanwhile, as though celebrating a great victory, they have reported in minute detail, day after day, the tragic conditions in the United States and Italy.
The reason is to display the supposed effectiveness of the Chinese Communist regime’s measures to the Chinese people.
Liberal democratic societies are incapable of preventing coronavirus infections.
The Communist Party’s system of leadership is superior――that is the message they want to convey.
Takeuchi
However, Western countries have begun pursuing China’s responsibility for the spread of the infection and have even filed lawsuits seeking compensation.
Seki Hei
China then responds, “What are you talking about?
The source of the infection was the United States.”
In other words, it is a “shifting of responsibility.”
In fact, there was a time when momentum was growing inside China to hold the Xi Jinping administration responsible.
However, after the tragic situation in New York began to be reported day after day in April, public sentiment changed completely.
“Compared with New York, our lives are safe.
No one other than President Xi Jinping can protect us.”
Xi Jinping is now promoting himself not only as the hero who saved China, but also as the savior of the world.
Takeuchi
It is an almost unbelievable development, but the Chinese people have long been exposed to propaganda operations.
One would think that by now they would have begun to recognize the methods being used against them…….
Seki Hei
Some intellectuals have developed a degree of immunity to that kind of information warfare.
However, most Chinese people are deceived, and even when they notice what is happening, they are deceived again by the same methods.
Takeuchi
Japanese people have similar tendencies.
During the Democratic Party of Japan administration, for example, many people were deceived by the slogan “change of government” and voted for the Democratic Party.
Once the government took office, however, its administration was so appalling that Japan’s national strength was diminished.
Yet voices have once again emerged expressing nostalgia for the years of Democratic Party rule.
Anti-Abe sentiment appears to have reached its ultimate extreme.
Seki Hei
It is said that once the throat has passed the burning sensation, one forgets the heat.
This is exactly the same.
Takeuchi
When people find themselves in miserable circumstances, one way to feel better is to look at someone in an even more miserable condition and experience a sense of superiority.
Does not China’s information warfare cleverly exploit that aspect of human psychology?
Seki Hei
During the Cultural Revolution, Mao Zedong stripped landlords and members of the intellectual ruling class of their human rights and forced them to the very bottom of society.
The children of landlords at that time were unable to attend university and, of course, could not obtain respectable employment.
Why did Mao do this?
It was to satisfy the peasants who belonged to the ruled classes.
Even while enduring difficult lives, the peasants could experience a certain degree of satisfaction when they saw the miserable condition of landlords who had been placed in an even worse position than themselves.
Takeuchi
Your own parents also became victims of the Cultural Revolution because they were intellectuals, did they not?
Yet even across the vast natural world, there are surely no animals capable of devising anything this vicious.
(All laugh.)
Hierarchies also exist in the animal world, but their purpose is to prevent unnecessary conflict.
Certainly, animals of higher rank have a greater chance of obtaining better food.
However, without a hierarchy, conflict would occur every time, leaving every member of the group utterly exhausted.
Acts comparable to crimes are, in fact, more likely to occur when the ranking among males has not been clearly established.
When the ranking is properly established, such acts become less likely.
Hierarchy not only prevents unnecessary conflict but also serves as a deterrent against criminal behavior.
There is another fascinating example.
Among birds, some species display behavior resembling “noblesse oblige,” or the obligation of those of high rank.
The Arabian babbler is one such bird.
The highest-ranking and second-ranking males constantly share food with the other members of the group.
At night, all the birds sleep in a single row on a branch.
Because the two ends are the places most vulnerable to attack, the highest-ranking and second-ranking males occupy those positions and protect the others.
However, even they do not surrender their mating rights to the rest of the group.
To be continued.
