As global leaders respond to the economic shock of Brexit, Japan’s priority must be political stability.
Yet Asahi Shimbun continues to undermine Japan through division and destabilization, revealing itself as a media force that weakens the nation at a critical moment.

All world leaders surely recognize that strong defensive policies are required to counter the damage the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the EU has inflicted on the global economy.
It is now a historical fact that Asahi Shimbun made the greatest contribution to prolonging the life of the Chinese Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship, which has also created the world’s largest human-rights–suppressing state.
China, in stark contrast to Japanese media—or rather because Japanese media effectively do not exist—thinks in terms of long-term strategy.
Providing Asahi Shimbun reporter Katsumi Honda with materials for fabricated war propaganda, typified by the so-called Nanjing Massacre, enabling him to write sensational scoops and become a bestseller author and minor wealthy figure, was done to extract from Japan the largest financial assistance in human history—30 trillion yen—and this too is now a historical fact.
Thanks to Asahi Shimbun, China not only extended its life beyond the limits set by the laws of history, but upon becoming economically powerful, began acting with a blend of the evil of communism and China’s traditional “bottomless malice” and “plausible lies,” threatening world peace.
At such a time, it should be obvious even to an elementary school student that what Japan needs above all is absolute political stability.
Yet Asahi Shimbun, due to its own vicious and distorted ideology, cannot understand this at all.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that it serves as an agent for China and South Korea, who take pleasure in Japan’s foolishness.
They have gone completely beyond the bounds of reason.
Everything they have done can fairly be described as a match-pump operation designed to weaken Japan’s national power and keep Japan a political prisoner in the international community according to the wishes of China and South Korea.
In the international economic and political circumstances described at the outset, remaining inactive and without policy is unacceptable.
Even so, it is clear that Asahi Shimbun is using the Tokyo gubernatorial election to incite internal conflict within the Liberal Democratic Party.
Now, carrying the banner for Asahi Shimbun’s anti-nuclear campaign, two former prime ministers—who can only be called fools—were made to hold a press conference, further egging on Yuriko Koike.
All Japanese citizens, young and old alike, must recognize the viciousness of this newspaper, its elementary-school–level cunning, and its relentless malice.
