Saying One Thing Yesterday and Another Today: How Inconsistency Breeds Evil

At present, without ever having thought in simple terms about what it means to bridge Japan and the world, or the world and the world, I believe there are many people who think only about themselves.
Akutagawa is convinced that most of those who now raise their voices in opposition to nuclear power are the very people who, just yesterday, were saying they opposed global warming and supported regulations on carbon gas emissions.

At the same time, Akutagawa wishes to say this to television newscasters and to the editorial writers of the mass media.

Saying this yesterday, and then saying that today.
