Oda Nobunaga’s Thunderous Address to the UN Human Rights Committee
In a 2016 polemical address framed as the voice of Oda Nobunaga, the author confronts the UN Human Rights Committee for its negligence and moral hypocrisy. The essay demands immediate human-rights recommendations toward China and South Korea and questions the legitimacy of compensation paid by Japan to officials who evade accountability.

The following is the thunderous address of Oda Nobunaga delivered to the United Nations Human Rights Committee.
It goes without saying how negligent and vicious you are,
but if you wish, even slightly, to pass through the gates of heaven,
you must immediately issue human rights recommendations to China and South Korea.
If you are people who have chosen to live while embracing the fires of hell,
then there is no salvation for you.
However, the remuneration you have received has been paid by the nation of Japan.
All of you must immediately return to us
the compensation you have received thus far,
and only then continue your wrongdoing.
If you do so,
the fires of hell may at least be somewhat eased.
If you wish to understand the correctness of my argument,
read the next chapter.
