Therefore, I Believe Modern Militarism Is Not in Tokyo but Now Resides in Beijing.

Drawing on a dialogue between Sekihei and Chen Pokong in the book “When Xi Jinping Kills the Chinese Communist Party,”this essay argues that modern militarism no longer resides in Japan but has become dominant in Beijing. It exposes the distortion of Asahi Shimbun editorials that label parliamentary standing ovations as militarism while concealing the reality of China’s one-party militaristic state.

Therefore,I believe that modern militarism is not in Tokyo, but now resides in Beijing.

Recently,a friend lent me a dialogue collection by Sekihei and Chen Pokong titled “When Xi Jinping Kills the Chinese Communist Party.”I had felt I could more or less predict what was written in it,and in a sense avoided reading it out of prejudice.
Yesterday,I began reading it and finished it in one sitting. It was that useful and substantial a book—in other words,a book that teaches the realities of the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and of contemporary Chinese society, things that it would not be an exaggeration to say cannot be understood at all from the reporting of the media led by the Asahi Shimbun.
The editorials that the Asahi Shimbun of 10/16 had written by Shinji Fukushima under the title of editorial writer and by Junko Takahashi under the title of deputy political editor were, simply put, attacks on the Abe administration, claiming that the standing ovation conducted in the Diet leads to the militarism of a path once taken.
I state this with conviction:if Japan had a CIA or FBI,the personal associations of the two individuals above would have to be investigated.
The following is an excerpt from the book mentioned at the beginning.Emphasis in the text is mine.

Sekihei:Indeed, that is the case. The major-power relationship presented by Xi Jinping links perfectly with what we were saying earlier—that Xi Jinping aims to dominate Asia and plot the great revival of the Chinese nation.
Chen Pokong:The great revival of the Chinese empire.
Sekihei:Since Asia is our sphere of influence, the idea is that America should go to the other side of the Pacific.Xi Jinping told the American side that “the Pacific Ocean is vast enough to accommodate both countries,”but in truth he wants to divide it into two, with America on the far side and China on this side.
Chen Pokong:To add to that,I think this even parallels the thinking of Japan during its militarist period in World War II.Therefore,I believe that modern militarism is not in Tokyo but now in Beijing. The Chinese Communist Party criticized Japan’s militarism, but while militarist ideology has disappeared cleanly in Japan,Chinese militarism has now become the overwhelming mainstream.
Sekihei:In line with this strategic objective,Xi Jinping has put forward a new concept, the “Asian Security Concept.”In other words,it is a diplomatic and defense concept concerning how to realize security in Asia.In Xi Jinping’s terms, what is important is that Asia’s security be protected by Asians themselves.
Chen Pokong:This too corresponds to the ideology of Japan’s militarist era—“Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” and “Asianism.”Another aspect is a way of thinking that could be described as “Asia for Asians by Asians.”Japan’s militarism failed and was defeated by America, but today’s Chinese “red militarism” has inherited it and is attempting to dominate Asia.

I am also the first person in the world to write the following point. There is no need to argue that the Asahi Shimbun and the so-called cultural figures aligned with it have prioritized criticizing militarism above all else.
Anyone with ordinary reading comprehension should be able to see one hundred percent that the editorial of October 6 was written precisely in that context.
If the Asahi Shimbun is truly a media organization that holds the criticism of militarism as its supreme principle, then it must devote its entire paper, its entire company, and mobilize all of its editorial writers to continue criticizing China.
That a one-party dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party is at the same time a militarist state is something that even a kindergarten child can understand.
Despite this kindergarten-level reality, they have not criticized it even once, and instead deploy editorials by every means possible aimed at bringing down the Abe administration—something that only pleases the rulers of South Korea and China, states that in reality continue anti-Japanese education rooted in Nazism and fascism—because Abe Shinzo is a right-wing figure. The thinking of the Asahi Shimbun’s editorial writers does not resonate with anyone other than the rulers and media of South Korea and China.
In other words,it is only natural that the backgrounds of the two individuals mentioned above should be scrutinized.
Related to this, the article published yesterday on China’s space development is also extremely suspicious. With the headline that China is aiming to become a space power, any reader would have taken it as an article praising China’s space capabilities, without pointing out the danger to world peace posed by China’s space development being driven by the People’s Liberation Army.
The Asahi Shimbun is strange. They themselves are completely unaware of that strangeness. They are extremely dangerous people.
This is because the spectacle of two people writing over two full pages articles portraying the Abe administration as if it were a regime inclined toward militarism—truly laughable—serves as a perfect curtain to conceal the reality of China, which is itself a militarist state.
Why do the Asahi Shimbun and the so-called cultural figures aligned with it continue to serve as a curtain for South Korea and China.
