China and UNESCO: Collusion Revealed— Japan Bearing Even the United States’ Share —

This chapter exposes the collusion between China and UNESCO, examines the renewed attempt to register comfort women-related materials, and reveals the reality that Japan continued to financially support UNESCO even after the United States suspended its contributions.

It was Japan that supported UNESCO, this truly incorrigible organization, even covering the share of the United States.

The following is a continuation of the previous chapter.

Collusion between China and UNESCO
The next point to watch in UNESCO’s actions is whether the registration of the previously rejected comfort women-related materials will be approved.
UNESCO encouraged China to reapply jointly with the countries concerned.
Recently, UNESCO has openly shown a pro-China stance.
In a September 2015 interview with Xinhua News Agency, Irina Bokova stated that “China is playing an increasingly important role in UNESCO in promoting understanding and concepts of world peace.”
Such praise can only be called sheer hypocrisy when one looks at the fact that China has become a military threat to its neighboring countries.
In the same month, Bokova attended the anti-Japanese victory commemoration events in Beijing.
China also lavished praise on Bokova.
Bulgarian media outlet 24Chasa interviewed Hao Ping, chairman of the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO.
“All 1.3 billion Chinese people know Irina Bokova well. She is an outstanding leader with extraordinary ability and an excellent global vision. Even when UNESCO faced financial difficulties, she demonstrated remarkable leadership,” he extolled her, concluding with, “We are grateful for the wisdom and vision shown by Director-General Bokova. She is truly a role model and an admired figure for many young people.”
This is also something that virtually all Japanese citizens are learning for the first time. Both the United Nations and UNESCO are sustained by Japan’s enormous financial contributions.
The financial crisis referred to in this statement likely means the issue of the previously mentioned Palestine resolution, when the United States halted its payments.
However, even at that time, it was Japan that supported UNESCO, this truly incorrigible organization, by covering the share of the United States.
Yet the Chinese Communist Party goes so far as to call this Bokova’s achievement, which is wickedness taken to the extreme.
What Bokova did financially amounts only to enriching herself. Moreover, it was done with our tax money, which is utterly unforgivable.

When one hears the words of lavish praise for Bokova from Hao Ping, a representative of China, it is easy to imagine which country Bokova is truly serving.
