Akira Kitagawa (born 1943) is a Japanese editor and businessman.
He is the representative of Daisan Shokan.
He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University.
He established the publishing company Daisan Shokan in Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
Even such a man graduated from Kyoto University’s Faculty of Engineering, and speaking of Kyoto University’s Faculty of Engineering, there is also a Zainichi Korean, closely monitored by the government for having made a major contribution to North Korea’s nuclear development, who has served as a professor in the nuclear engineering department…so naturally he must have been deeply connected with this Akira Kitagawa.

In 1975, together with Kyoichi Shimada, who had been a member of the Japanese Red Army logistics committee, he was arrested by Swedish police authorities and forcibly deported to Japan.
