I Am Convinced That If China’s and the Korean Peninsula’s Information Operations Against Japan Are Ever Fully Exposed, the Names of Nearly All Those Afflicted with the Infantile Disease of the Left Who Dominate NHK Will Emerge.—Aegis Ashore Coverage, Local Manipulation, and NHK’s Disturbing Reporting Posture—
This essay uses NHK’s Watch 9 coverage of the proposed Aegis Ashore deployment to argue that Japanese reporting on national security has become deeply distorted and that information operations by China and the Korean Peninsula may already be at work inside Japan.
The author points out that although Akita and Yamaguchi were chosen as candidate locations precisely because the deployment there would cover all of Japan, NHK focused heavily on a single newcomer to Abu Town in Akita who reportedly opposed the plan, while completely ignoring the abnormality of treating such a development as decisive.
He argues that the sequence of events almost looks as though Chinese or Korean Peninsula intelligence services had obtained prior knowledge of the Ministry of Defense’s site-selection process and launched local influence operations accordingly, something he regards as entirely plausible in what he calls “spy heaven” Japan.
The essay also connects this to the issue of Chinese and South Korean acquisition of land near Self-Defense Force facilities and future strategic defense sites, and sharply criticizes NHK for helping create an atmosphere in which Japanese citizens cannot even take pride in their own region being chosen as a site for national defense.
It concludes with the claim that if China’s and the Korean Peninsula’s information operations against Japan are ever fully exposed, the names of nearly all those on the Left who dominate NHK will emerge as well.
The author’s central message is that the time has long since come for the Japanese people to understand the real structure behind such reporting.

I am convinced that if the information operations conducted by China and the Korean Peninsula against Japan are ever exposed, the names of nearly all those afflicted with the infantile disease of the Left who dominate NHK will come out.
I happened to be half-watching NHK’s Watch 9, and it reported that Akita Prefecture and Yamaguchi Prefecture had been selected as the sites for the deployment of Aegis Ashore in order to protect all of Japan from hostile states directed against Japan… because if it were installed in those two places, all of Japan could be covered.
I do not know whether it was a prearranged performance with NHK or not, but the whole process was all too typically NHK, as usual….
It was said that one person had moved to Abu Town in Akita Prefecture, one of the proposed sites, in response to the town’s revitalization efforts.
This one migrant then telephoned the mayor and said that if things continued in this way, she would leave the town.
And it is said that with that single phone call, the mayor, who calls himself a member of the Liberal Democratic Party, decided to oppose the installation of Aegis Ashore… yet NHK, for some reason, says absolutely nothing about how abnormal this is.
It even begins to look as though every part of the story had been arranged by the intelligence services of China and the Korean Peninsula.
In spy-heaven Japan, it would probably be child’s play for the operatives of those intelligence services to know in advance the Ministry of Defense’s information on the selection of sites for Aegis Ashore.
Since when did Japanese people become people who cannot even take pride in the utterly natural desire to defend their own country, or in the fact that their town was chosen as a site for the defense of the nation… people who, if Japan were left defenseless and subjected to missile attack, would lose their own safety as well…?
What is bizarre is not only that NHK reports as though such people, who do not even understand something at the level of a kindergartener, were the proper citizens.
This story is genuinely chilling.
Who, exactly, is that woman NHK interviewed with her face hidden, the woman described as a migrant?
Why are China and South Korea buying up land across Japan near Self-Defense Force bases and near places that will become key points in the defense of Japan’s territory in the future?
The time has long since come when every NHK viewer must know the truth of these matters.
If, as with the publication of the Soviet Mitrokhin Archive, the Levchenko testimony, and the Venona documents, the information operations of China and the Korean Peninsula against Japan are one day brought to light,
I am convinced that the names of nearly all those afflicted with the infantile disease of the Left who dominate NHK will come out.
