The Strange Press Conference over Takashi Uemura’s Defeat. The True Nature of the Biased Media Space Shaped by the Asahi Shimbun and NHK.

Published on April 17, 2019.
This piece examines how Japan’s media space has been distorted and how national interests have been undermined, through the lawsuit in which Takashi Uemura sued Yoshiko Sakurai and lost, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club press conference, and the conduct of NHK commentators and Asahi-linked media figures.
Citing cases involving the Moritomo and Kake reporting, Atsushi Yamada, Tomoyuki Mizuno, and the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan, it criticizes the structure of media dominance in Japan and the dangers it poses.

In the lawsuit in which Takashi Uemura, lashing out in anger, sued Yoshiko Sakurai, he of course suffered a complete defeat.
(The mere fact that so many lawyers joined this man’s defense team shows that the decay and red infiltration of Japan’s legal world are so appalling as to make one cover one’s eyes.)
It is now a fact beyond dispute that it is the Asahi Shimbun, along with the intelligence agencies of China and the Korean Peninsula, that is manipulating those strange people at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club, including that Italian.
This is the chapter I published on 2019-01-05 under that title.
At No. 45 in the top 50 goo search rankings the day before yesterday, there was the chapter I published on 2018-08-06 under the title,
“Even NHK commentator Tomoyuki Mizuno criticized Japan by saying, ‘China and North Korea explicitly named Japan and pointed to the possibility of nuclear development’ (August 1, ‘Jiron Koron’).”
The moment I saw this, I immediately understood.
The night before last, from 11 p.m. for two hours, there was a special NHK program featuring all of its commentators.
All the discerning viewers who watched that program must have felt the suspiciousness of Tomoyuki Mizuno… that he was nothing other than an agent of China… and so they searched for the chapter at the beginning.
Or perhaps they searched for “Tomoyuki Mizuno,” and my chapter appeared.
Among those who watched that program the night before last, all discerning viewers must have been thinking the same thing.
That it vividly demonstrated the communist, or communist-party, conviction that if they can create sympathizers amounting to 5 percent within a target organization, that organization can be completely controlled.
Of course, it goes without saying that there are also people there who sincerely and naturally love Japan and continue to refine themselves in their work.
But in any case, the fact that people of that level are, as the de facto state broadcaster of Japan, shaping Japanese public opinion however they please,
and the fact that they criticize every policy created by elected politicians… especially those entrusted with government… policies made with the national interest in mind, and, as the Moritomo and Kake uproars demonstrated, even go so far as to engage in fake reporting, disturbing and paralyzing national politics and weakening Japan’s national strength,
shows not only their evil, but also the extreme foolishness of Japan as a state, or its condition of being full of openings.
Until August four years earlier, Japan’s media had been dominated by a pseudo-moralism.
And because that very thing was the ideal target of propaganda by one-party communist dictatorships and Nazi states, such foolishness was allowed to prevail,
and Japan passed through Heisei 30 as an age of defeat, losing even one-third of the economic growth that the United States achieved, and weakening its national power.
As I have already written, the one who started this was Atsushi Yamada, formerly an economics reporter at the Asahi Shimbun.
What I truly cannot forgive is that this man, far from showing even the slightest sign of reflection… on a broadcast of Asamade Nama TV that I happened to see, displayed the utmost arrogance and, if I recall correctly, was intimidating an LDP politician,
and not only that, but also continues, in places such as the Prime Minister’s Office press conferences, to behave as though he were some grand elder of Japan’s press-club establishment, introducing himself as “I am journalist Yamada,”
and the other day, in the lawsuit in which Takashi Uemura lashed out and sued Yoshiko Sakurai, he naturally suffered a complete defeat.
(The mere fact that so many lawyers joined this man’s defense team shows that the decay and red infiltration of Japan’s legal world are so appalling as to make one cover one’s eyes.)
And yet, for some reason, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club invited the two of them and held a press conference on the matter….
If one looks at the content of the questions and answers, it is an undeniable fact that the mastermind behind that press conference was Atsushi Yamada and the Asahi Shimbun.
As for the awfulness of the Italian who called himself a journalist at that press conference,
as I, who love Italy more than anyone, wrote in Italian addressed to Italy itself… “Recall this disgrace to Italy to the homeland at once.”
It is now a fact beyond dispute that it is the Asahi Shimbun, along with the intelligence agencies of China and the Korean Peninsula, that is manipulating those strange people at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club, including that Italian.
