This chapter criticizes what the author sees as anti-Trump reporting, anti-Abe reporting, and pro-China reporting in NHK’s 7 p.m. news and Watch 9.
It discusses Asahi Inoue, Ōkoshi, Arima, the reporting based on materials brought by former MEXT official Maekawa, and the repeated poll item “the prime minister’s character cannot be trusted,” arguing that NHK’s news and editorial divisions are structurally biased.

Asahi Inoue, who hosts NHK’s 7 p.m. news on weekends, is the woman who used to host Watch 9 together with Ōkoshi, who kept calmly saying truly outrageous things, such as that Japan forcibly took Koreans away, and that because he respected Kang Sang-jung, he was deeply moved to have him appear on the program.
As soon as this woman’s program begins, she endlessly airs reports from the American anti-Trump media that continue attacking President Trump, reporting as if President Trump were in danger of being brought down and had lost his power.
What is the scheme behind this?
It can be nothing other than lowering the value of the Japan-U.S. summit meeting that is about to begin… and finding fault with the diplomatic achievements of Prime Minister Abe.
The editing and biased reporting methods of the left-wing activists who control NHK’s news division are persistent and malicious.
The company called NHK does not speak.
The building called NHK does not speak.
The people who control NHK’s news division edit it, and female announcers such as Asahi Inoue, for example, joyfully speak it.
The former chairman, who came from Mitsui & Co. and was the type of person who should have remained “in the field like rengeso,” corrected NHK’s biased reporting.
That is why the Ōkoshi faction had been removed.
As soon as the former president retired and a person who was neither poison nor medicine became chairman, the Ōkoshi faction returned to power… and masochistic historical views, anti-Japanese thought, and anti-Abe reporting following the Asahi Shimbun openly revived.
Regarding materials that former MEXT official Maekawa had merely brought to Asahi and NHK, Arima of Watch 9 said that internal documents had been found through NHK’s thorough investigation, and thereby showed a typical example of the lies characteristic of people who, as is clear from collections of Kiyomi Tsujimoto’s statements, possess masochistic historical views and anti-Japanese thought, and serve as agents of China and the Korean Peninsula.
After thoroughly denigrating President Trump at the beginning, what they then aired at length was praise-reporting on China’s Belt and Road Initiative（although they cunningly pretended to be fair by saying that Hong Kong was concerned, in reality it was praise of China）.
The Japanese people are not told at all what kind of people fill NHK’s news division and editorial division, and they are made to watch what those people produce and edit as news.
As a result… although among politicians there is no one with such a good character as Prime Minister Abe, they set up in every opinion poll a leading-question item saying that “his character cannot be trusted,” and report it repeatedly at abnormally short intervals.
As soon as the Constitutional Democratic Party, which shares their ideology, reached a level of support unworthy even of discussion as a political party, they stopped announcing party-support rates altogether, and instead announced every time that support and non-support for the Abe administration were neck and neck（what kind of survey are they conducting!）, and that the reason for non-support is “his character cannot be trusted”… repeating it again and again in order to plant this in the unconscious realm of the people（precisely a subliminal effect）.
With brains that cannot even understand that, as politicians, the ones whose “character cannot be trusted” are Shigeru Ishiba and Shinjiro Koizumi, which is perfectly obvious….
Anyone with keen insight can understand that Shigeru Ishiba and Shinjiro Koizumi are merely low-intelligence people who speak while being conscious of the editorials and essays of the Asahi Shimbun’s editorial writers.
