This Is a Wonderful Place|May 20, 2026: The Rose Garden of Kyoto Botanical Gardens|Karatachi no Hana and Brahms Symphony No. 3

This is a wonderful place.
May 20, 2026.
The rose garden of Kyoto Botanical Gardens.
The photographs I took on this day are truly excellent.
The work I released on May 20, set to Wagner’s Prelude to “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg,” performed by the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra under Takashi Asahina, has also been gaining views very well.
So today, I have decided to place “Karatachi no Hana,” performed by the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra under Takashi Asahina, at the beginning of this photo collection.
This piece, a little over three minutes long, is very good.
It fits beautifully as a quiet prelude leading into the rose garden in full bloom.
After that, I will add the first movement of Brahms’s Symphony No. 3, performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Herbert von Karajan.
This symphony will be performed as the first work of the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra’s subscription concert at Festival Hall on May 23.
Its length is also just about ten minutes.
It fits the duration of this photo collection very well.
This symphony, too, is very good.
I am already looking forward to the concert on May 23.
The rose garden of Kyoto Botanical Gardens on May 20, 2026.
Roses in full bloom.
Unexpectedly fine weather.
And a place I can almost call my own garden.
To these photographs, I will add “Karatachi no Hana” and the first movement of Brahms’s Symphony No. 3.
The full bloom of the rose garden.
“Karatachi no Hana” by Takashi Asahina and the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra.
And the deep, radiant sound of Brahms by Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic.
This is also a fitting combination as a monument to May 20, 2026.
