NHK Watch9, ICAN, and Peace Boat | The True Nature of Reporting That Seeks to Erase Japan’s Nuclear Technology

This essay criticizes NHK’s flagship news program Watch9, its coverage of Governor Onaga’s death, its Nagasaki atomic-bomb feature, and the relationship between ICAN and Peace Boat, arguing that NHK’s reporting works to weaken Japan’s nuclear technology under the guise of anti-nuclear activism.
October 19, 2019.
To erase Japan’s nuclear technology in accordance with the intentions of China and the Korean Peninsula… to absolutely prevent Japan from possessing nuclear capability, and thereby keep Japan as a country that can be attacked at any time, a country that can be invaded at any time.
I am retransmitting the chapter originally published on August 9, 2018, under the title: I Envied My Friend Who Stopped Watching NHK’s Flagship News Program Watch9, Saying It Was Too Absurd to Watch.
I envied my friend who stopped watching NHK’s flagship news program Watch9, saying it was too absurd to watch.
That is because I, even now, still glance at it sideways from time to time.
Today’s broadcast was especially terrible… it truly made me feel like vomiting.
Taking Governor Onaga’s death as an opportunity, they spent a long time praising him, clearly revealing the intention of the people who control NHK’s news department and editorial division—to make the Onaga faction win the gubernatorial election; in reality, they are probably extreme leftists sympathetic to Chongryon, the Korean Peninsula, or the Chinese Communist Party.
In a feature related to the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, perhaps because they had made an intense approach, the host Arima visited and interviewed the representative of an organization in Shinjuku called ICAN, which is said to be engaged in activities under the name of a movement to abolish nuclear weapons, but the actual movement body behind this ICAN was, astonishingly, “Peace Boat.”
Even so, the nerves and brains of NHK’s news department, and Arima’s nerves… could there be anything more disgusting?
Surely they cannot have been unaware of what kind of organization Peace Boat is.
In other words, NHK’s news department exposed to the whole world the fact that it is completely under the influence of Chongryon and others, and that the people controlling the news department and the final editorial division are virtually agents of Chongryon, the Korean Peninsula, and China.
The face of the representative, the many large Peace Boat posters pasted in the office, NHK continuing to show this man and those posters in large close-up.
I was grateful that the reality became clear, but it was truly vomit-inducing footage.
The hypocritical words spoken by treasonists… in reality, they are to erase Japan’s nuclear technology in accordance with the intentions of China and the Korean Peninsula… to absolutely prevent Japan from possessing nuclear capability, and thereby keep Japan as a country that can be attacked at any time, a country that can be invaded at any time.
NHK, Japan’s national broadcaster, cooperating in such evil scheming… where could there be a more vomit-inducing spectacle than this?
