Just now, while watching TV Tokyo’s WBS, I saw footage of Trump speaking at a rally of supporters, saying, “This year’s Academy Awards were terrible… Why did a Korean film win Best Picture?… We are having problems with South Korea right now over trade and other issues, and yet they gave the highest film award to a Korean movie.”
I felt vindicated.
I even thought there was a strong possibility that Trump had been reading my blog.
As I have mentioned several times regarding Trump, when he was elected, an assessment made by a senior Chinese government official hit the nail on the head.

The conduct of NHK, the Asahi Shimbun, and others is exactly like the Emperor’s New Clothes.
Or consider the statement, “Who said that Taiwan is part of one China?”
It is no exaggeration whatsoever to say that the essence of a one-party Communist dictatorship, of a totalitarian state, is to call black white and to say that black is white.
This applies to virtually everything.
What makes them truly malicious is that they force the other party to accept this.
The Asahi Shimbun, NHK, and the so-called intellectuals have readily submitted to such coercion.
Their intellectual framework is based on the complete repudiation of prewar Japan.
