Whatever happens, I will convey to you words, intellect, the truth of this world, and the joy of being alive. I will deliver them to you.
January 25, 2012
There are many people in the world who buy books in search of guidance on how to live in this world.
I, too, may sometimes write a book about life’s lessons.
It may become a powerful message of a kind that is rarely expressed.
Above all, this is what I think.
From now on, I will show you many of my photographs in the electronic book mentioned above, as though in a film.
I am confident that you will discover many of life’s finest lessons in them.
They will help you and become vitamins for your mind.
When you are feeling tired, when you have grown tired, when you are being tormented, or have been tormented, by the evils of this world, the greed of capitalism, and the like.
I would like you to read my words, look at my photographs, and listen to the music I bring you.
To kindle a light in the intellect within you, I will bring you words, photographs, and music every day, as long as it is not too late.
I write.
I will continue writing the words that were my mission.
I will work simultaneously on “Boxer,” “My Forty-First Visit to Hawaii,” “MacArthur’s Satisfaction,” “Anna Karenina in the Twenty-First Century,” and Volume II of “The Turntable of Civilization,” together with my photographs.
Every day, I will write something that at least 1,000 of the approximately 2,500 people who currently read my work each day will read.
I will also explain the reason for this in whichever of the works mentioned above I write first.
For example, for a novel serialized in a newspaper, I would probably write approximately 1,000 characters every day.
I have written more than that many times before.
From now on, I will either write 1,000 characters every day or publish at least 130 photographs a day, equivalent to more than 1,000 characters.
Whatever happens, I will convey to you words, intellect, the truth of this world, and the joy of being alive. I will deliver them to you.
