South Korea, which at the time joined forces with China and persistently continued fierce anti-Japanese propaganda, particularly in the United States, must likewise not have looked favorably upon Japan demonstrating to the world capabilities on a par with those of the United States.
Today, following Minister Amari’s resignation, Tanigaki, secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party, answered a reporter’s question and expressed concern about the impact on young people.
Indeed, starting with this year’s House of Councillors election, young people aged 18 and older are granted the right to vote.
I thought that one of the intentions behind making this strange accusation at such a strange time might have concerned this very point.
Until August of the year before last, they had continued to denigrate Japan and damage the honor and credibility of Japanese people, past and present.
Yet, while 99% of Japanese people engage in work, they have continued to do such things in the name of being reporters.
Politics has been thoroughly weakened by those whose true nature is that of betraying their own country.
Through their actions, things turned out just as the countries that continued their anti-Japanese propaganda had hoped.
In August of the year before last, the true nature of the Asahi Shimbun was exposed in broad daylight and became clear.
