The Chinese Communist Party’s Ultimate Goal Is the Subjugation of Japan
Citing Richard Fisher’s analysis, this article explains how the Chinese Communist Party seeks to dismantle the U.S.–Japan alliance, restrict Japan’s self-defense, and ultimately incorporate Japan into China’s long-term imperial strategy.
The Chinese Communist Party’s Ultimate Goal Is the Subjugation of Japan

The following is a continuation of the previous chapter.
Its leading theoretical proponent is Richard Fisher, Senior Fellow at the International Assessment and Strategy Center, who stated the following in a dialogue with Yoshihisa Komori, special correspondent of Sankei Shimbun (WiLL, December 2016 issue).
“The Chinese Communist Party can be said to ultimately aim to bring Japan almost completely to heel.
It seeks to eliminate Japan’s alliance with the United States.
Japan’s self-defense capabilities would be severely restricted.
Of course, Japan would not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
Then, step by step, Japan would be incorporated into China’s long-term national development plan.
That is the objective.
In other words, the goal is to turn Japan into a subordinate state of the Chinese empire.”
Based on such a Chinese national strategy, operations targeting Okinawa have also been carried out.
“It is a widely known fact that China has long incited resentment among Okinawan residents toward the Japanese state as part of its foreign influence operations.
This strategy resembles the united front method used to instigate anti-government movements against Taiwan.
It is also similar to China’s decades-long efforts to undermine the U.S.–Philippines alliance.”
