standing alongside the United States,
and that holds cutting-edge technologies
across every field,
Japan, in the true sense
as an island nation,
should simply be
the world’s Galápagos.
For the next 170 years,
it should enjoy its status
as a world champion
alongside the United States.
That is the role
of a nation
