In other words, this editorial writer has brilliantly expressed what the Asahi Shimbun truly is.

I add the following note to yesterday’s Asahi Shimbun editorial.

*What do you think when you see the charred uniform of a schoolgirl?
I want to hear President Obama’s voice.
And I also want to hear the voices of the atomic bomb victims.

Then is it unnecessary to lay flowers at Pearl Harbor?
What about China?
Should we not listen to the voices of the souls of foreigners who died unjust deaths?*

Who would think that this was written by a sane Japanese citizen?

This is the brain of a person hardened by what is called self-abasing ideology, or anti-Japanese ideology.

Or rather, it would be more accurate to say that this piece was written by someone whose mind is hardened by an ideology so consumed with hatred toward Japan that it cannot be helped.

In other words, this editorial writer has brilliantly expressed what the Asahi Shimbun truly is.

For example, it is exactly the same as the remarks made by Kenzaburō Ōe toward the Japanese state and the Japanese people in various contexts.
It goes without saying that Ōe grew up reading the Asahi Shimbun and is a representative figure among the so-called “cultural elites” who have made their living alongside it.

When I first saw Wakamiya Yoshifumi on Hōdō Station, he suddenly uttered the name of Kakuei Tanaka, which had not been mentioned at all in the discussion.
Even the host, Furutachi, was visibly shaken.
For a moment, I thought that Wakamiya might be suffering from dementia.
However, I soon understood that this was not the case; rather, it was the result of a distorted and abnormal mind filled with certain fixed words.

This editorial writer has brilliantly proven that there are countless people within the Asahi Shimbun who are exactly the same as that truly abnormal Wakamiya Yoshifumi.
