Murata Natsuho — Rome 2025 (Latter Part)
+ Historic Performances from Competition Victories
Preserved as Art, Not as Record

Filmed on November 30, 2025, at Ryōan-ji Temple in Kyoto.
This work constitutes Volume 3 of a visual series created for the purpose of permanent preservation.

At its core is the latter half of the concert program performed in Rome
on November 22, 2025 by violinist Murata Natsuho.

Performances included (Rome 2025 – Latter Part):
• Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky — Serenade Mélancolique, Op. 26
• Maurice Ravel — Tzigane
• Fritz Kreisler — Liebesleid

Elsewhere in this space,
I have written that in the world of the violin,
a truly colossal genius appears only once every hundred years—
Heifetz, Ginette Neveu, and Murata Natsuho.

The performance presented here proves that this assertion is precise and well-founded.

The photographs, too, have reached a supreme level.
The Ryōan-ji of November 30, 2025—
to capture these same images again is virtually impossible.

In addition, this work includes a historic competition performance:

From the 2022 Tibor Junior International Violin Competition,
Second Round:

• Franz Schubert
Rondo for Violin and Strings in A Major, D. 438

Supreme images, paired with supreme performance.
Not a record,
but a visual work preserved as art for the future.
