Written on September 5, 2016. This essay denounces the malice and intellectual degradation of foreign correspondents in Tokyo, particularly those aligned with Süddeutsche Zeitung and Asahi Shimbun narratives. It rejects attempts to equate Japan with Nazi crimes and reasserts Japan’s historical and civilizational integrity.

Even so, the stupidity and malice of journalists from papers such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, who have lived in Tokyo as foreign correspondents—the capital of the world’s safest, most peaceful, and cleanest nation, possessing intellectual standards rivaling those of the United States—yet have made no effort whatsoever to study what a newspaper reporter ought to study, and who have continued to pretend understanding by reading Asahi Shimbun, a paper obsessed with diminishing its own country, have reached their extreme.
I, who until learning of their existence felt nothing in particular, and who had long been a driver of a BMW 7 Series, now feel nothing but contempt for Germans.

That is only natural.
To hold in anything but contempt a people of whom nearly half, according to opinion polls, harbor anti-Japanese sentiment, merely because they take at face value the ideology of foolish newspaper reporters while in reality knowing nothing of the facts themselves, is entirely reasonable, and Germans must know this.

They must restrain their words and their thinking, having learned that they are a two-faced nation—opposing nuclear power while purchasing massive amounts of electricity from neighboring nuclear superpower France, proclaiming respect for human rights and welcoming refugees while, in order to sell cars to the 1.3 billion people of China, the world’s greatest violator of human rights, their prime minister has come to Japan only once in substance, yet has gone to China eight times with massive economic delegations.

At the same time, when Japan’s Prime Minister Ikeda Hayato once visited your country, you mocked us with talk of “transistor diplomacy,” yet not a single Japanese has mocked you with talk of “automobile diplomacy,” and you must learn this deeply.

I am writing in anger and thus hurling these denunciations at you, but 99 percent of the Japanese people have never, in all of history, been a nation that harbors resentment toward countries whose realities they do not truly know.

The representative example of this is Oda Nobunaga.
He did not treat as a slave the Black man presented by white missionaries as a slave, but instead treated him as a capable retainer, a full-fledged samurai.

I declare that the reporter from Süddeutsche Zeitung is malicious, and that half of the German people who sympathize with him are foolish and malicious, because it is patently clear that he is using articles from Asahi Shimbun—a newspaper so utterly foolish that its very ideology consists of abusing its own country—to place Japan alongside the Nazi crimes committed by his own nation.
To call a people so easily manipulated foolish and despicable is only natural.

Utter villains, utterly despicable.

The fools at Asahi Shimbun may have gladly welcomed Germans who have long despised Japan with such degraded intellect, but “The Turntable of Civilization” declares that God must know and remember that He will never again permit such malice and folly.
