Japan, a model nation that is bullied.
I believe Japan is a wonderful country.
However, there are also many times when I feel it is a very pitiful country.
It has been subjected to repeated interference in its domestic affairs by China and South Korea, and even now continues to be questioned about “war responsibility.”
In fact, that war responsibility itself has been covered in falsehoods and, despite being the result of indoctrination based on the GHQ’s WGIP, many Japanese people still believe those falsehoods.
Because they do not properly investigate matters for themselves, they are unable to discard deliberately implanted assumptions.
As I wrote in Japanese Still Bound by GHQ Indoctrination (PHP Institute), the War Guilt Information Program — a propaganda plan to instill a sense of war guilt in the Japanese people — defined responsibility for the Greater East Asia War as rooted in Japanese culture centered on the imperial system and in the national character of a people said to believe in a “cult religion” called State Shinto, and sought to thoroughly deny and destroy these.
By completely denying the admirable spiritual qualities originally possessed by the Japanese people, it was a strategy to render the Japanese nation spiritually rootless.
