Osaka — A Symphony of Light and Civilization Ravel Daphnis et Chloé & R. Strauss Alpine Symphony |4K Permanent Archive

Osaka, February 2026.
Beginning at the plum grove of Osaka Castle, this visual poem traces light, water, and the architecture of a living city.
Japanese white-eyes among plum blossoms.
Reflections trembling across the river.
The structures surrounding Osaka Castle Hall.
And the vast skyline of Umeda.
Captured with the SONY α1 — a camera I consider among the finest ever created — each moment of light was preserved with precision.
Music:
Ravel — Daphnis et Chloé, Suite No.2 “Lever du jour”.
Richard Strauss — An Alpine Symphony (Sunset to Night).
From dawn to sunset, into night, the passage of time in a city where nature and civilization coexist is rendered as a 19-minute visual symphony.
When all elements converge, an eternal work is born.
The Turntable of Civilization.
