Why Have China and South Korea Outmatched Japan in the Information War?The Structure of Anti-Japan Propaganda Exploiting the Naive Moralism of Asahi and Japan’s Cultural Elites.

Published on April 21, 2019.
Based on a chapter originally published on October 8, 2015, this essay argues that the anti-Japan atmosphere formed in international institutions such as the UN Human Rights Council has been driven by the continuous and strategic propaganda efforts of China and South Korea.
The author characterizes China as a one-party Communist dictatorship and South Korea as a totalitarian state sustained by anti-Japan education, and contends that international propaganda is a lifeline for maintaining their regimes.
By contrast, Japan’s Asahi and Mainichi newspapers, along with so-called cultural elites, are criticized for mistaking attacks on their own country for intelligence and justice, and for being manipulated through their naive moralism.
The essay is an indictment of the weakness of postwar Japan’s information strategy, including the strategic failures of the Japanese government.

It goes without saying that the intelligence organs of China…
a one-party Communist dictatorship…
and of South Korea…
a totalitarian state, a Nazi-like state, that continues to carry out anti-Japan education…
are, unlike Japan…
constantly active.

The following is from a chapter I published on October 8, 2015.
Why is it, for example, that the UN Human Rights Council has fallen into such an unbelievably abnormal condition.
The foolishness of Japan’s Asahi and Mainichi is already beyond discussion, but there is also a major problem with the Japanese government, which has continued to be dominated by them.
Many of those people were probably raised reading the Asahi Shimbun.
Unlike those truly idiotic people who, having no international strategy whatsoever, simply and blindly mistake attacking their own country and government for intelligence and justice…
for China, a one-party Communist dictatorship, and South Korea, a totalitarian state, a Nazi-like state, that continues anti-Japan education…
international propaganda activity is a lifeline.
In order to divert the eyes of their own people and preserve their own regimes, they externally publicize hatred toward Japan.
In other words, anti-Japan propaganda is not something done half in play.
It is an expression of their age-old tradition of “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies.”
Not only are the Asahi and the so-called cultural figures completely ignorant of this, but they even mistake showing kindness toward those countries for intelligence and moralism.
And those countries, in their true hearts…
mock them…
and, as was clearly shown in the way the recent World Heritage registration was handled…
have thoroughly exploited the childish and foolish sham moralism of the Asahi, the Mainichi, and the so-called cultural figures, and have carried things through exactly as they wished.
That is what the writers contributing substantial essays to the monthly magazine Sound Argument have taught us.
It goes without saying that the intelligence organs of China…
a one-party Communist dictatorship…
and of South Korea…
a totalitarian state, a Nazi-like state, that continues to carry out anti-Japan education…
are, unlike Japan…
constantly active.
