Yonsei University and the Anti-Japan Propaganda Network — The Dark Nexus of Asahi Shimbun, American Academia, and Korean-Origin Influence Operations
This essay critically examines Yonsei University as a hub linking Asahi Shimbun’s internal study-abroad network, anti-Japan discourse in American academia, and propaganda operations originating in Korea.
Through the discourse surrounding figures such as Suh Seung, Hakoda Tetsuya, and Alexis Dudden, it probes the roots of postwar Japan’s distorted ideological structure and anti-Japan propaganda.

I am truly appalled by the fact that this queen of anti-Japan propaganda in the United States, originating from Korea, is a university professor.
That is why I noticed it immediately.
Yonsei University is one of the bases of anti-Japan propaganda and one of the bases for KCIA covert activities.
This is the chapter I published on 2018-12-18 under that title.
What follows is an article I published in June 2017.
In a recent special feature in the Sankei Shimbun, Suh Seung was mentioned.
It said that his top disciple is now writing articles at Asahi Shimbun.
As you know, I have pointed out several times that a man named Hakoda Tetsuya, in a position like that of an editorial writer in charge of Korea at Asahi Shimbun, has been writing strange articles.
In the course of doing so, I also pointed out that Hakoda graduated from Ritsumeikan University and then joined the company.
He then entered Asahi Shimbun’s customary in-house study-abroad course.
I also pointed out that this too is one of the roots of Asahi Shimbun’s distorted thinking, masochistic historical thinking, and anti-Japan thinking.
Wakamiya Yoshibumi, Kiyota Harufumi, Uemura Takashi, Hakoda Tetsuya, and others studied at Yonsei University through internal company programs.
Then there were those North Korean spies, Matsui Yayori, the prominent female employee of Asahi Shimbun, Ikeda Eriko, the NHK producer, and Alexis Dudden.
Alexis Dudden is an American woman who, to anyone’s eyes, is nothing less than a Korean agent and who preaches anti-Japan propaganda all year round.
Carol Gluck may be of the same kind as well.
It would be no exaggeration at all to say that Alexis Dudden represents the very extreme of stupidity and evil.
Even her expression reveals the foolishness and narrowness of her distorted ideas.
It was they who organized that ridiculous “Women’s International War Crimes Tribunal.”
December 7 through 12, 2000.
I am truly appalled by the fact that this queen of anti-Japan propaganda in the United States, originating from Korea, is a university professor.
But the time has long since come for people all over the world to know that she is also proof of the incorrigibility and foolishness of the species called university professors.
She too had studied at Yonsei University.
That is why I noticed it immediately.
I realized that Yonsei University is one of the bases of anti-Japan propaganda.
Now, as for Suh Seung, those who have long subscribed to and read newspapers carefully will probably remember only that he was a man arrested in South Korea on suspicion of espionage.
At that time, Asahi Shimbun and so-called scholars and cultural figures such as Kenzaburo Oe, one of its leading sympathizers, were fervent worshippers of North Korea and called it a “paradise on earth.”
South Korea, where political instability continued, was at that time under military regimes in which the armed forces seized power whenever circumstances required.
It was an age when Asahi Shimbun and the so-called scholars who sympathized with it praised North Korea and despised South Korea.
Among them, Suh Seung was treated as a hero.
I was astonished to learn that he had even served as a professor at Ritsumeikan University, but I was even more shocked and appalled to learn that Hakoda Tetsuya was his foremost disciple.
That is because Suh Seung was the very embodiment of the fraudulent ideology created by the GHQ occupation policy, that is, by brainwashing operations.
My firsthand knowledge, and
the fact that he came from Yamagata Prefecture, neighboring my home prefecture, which also pleases me,
and the late Watanabe Shoichi, a genuine scholar alongside the late Umesao Tadao,
perfectly demonstrated as a scholar,
and refuted as a scholar,
their stupidity, their errors, and the roots of their distorted ideology,
that lie, namely anti-Japan propaganda.
The Wikipedia article to be cited in the next chapter proves that Suh Seung is a mass of such lies.
