What Do NHK and the Asahi Shimbun Really Signify? — Seventy Years of Public Opinion-Making Against Constitutional Revision in Japan

This passage questions the meaning of the long-standing effort by NHK and the Asahi Shimbun to shape public opinion against constitutional revision, and sharply criticizes the structure that has contributed to Japan’s weakening and its accommodation toward China and the Korean Peninsula.
By linking together the existence of anti-Japan states such as China, South Korea, and North Korea, the problem of the GHQ-imposed Constitution, and the uncritical acceptance of these narratives by many Japanese citizens, it exposes the distortions of postwar Japan’s media space.
It argues that if Japan is to move forward as a truly prosperous and strong nation, it must fundamentally reexamine the nature of its media and public-opinion formation.

South Korea, and North Korea as well, are anti-Japan states that have continued this for seventy years after the war, and there is nowhere else but these two countries where such a thing exists. Yet NHK and the Asahi Shimbun continue to create public opinion opposed to constitutional revision. What this signifies is

The chapter I published on 2019-01-01 under the title, “Even though it became decisively clear in August four years ago what kind of people are among that five percent, they are still being brainwashed by this five percent even now,” has now entered the real-time top ten.
When I reread it, I thought to myself that it was indeed good.
As I was casually watching several TV programs just now, one thing caught my attention.
A short while ago, an NHK program stated without any doubt or caution that there are 740,000 Chinese nationals residing in Japan, yet what kind of de facto state broadcaster entirely fails to report any caution regarding the fact that China is a one-party dictatorship under the Communist Party and that Xi Jinping has enacted bizarre laws that bind them completely?
The architect Kengo Kuma, who appeared on that program, is, in terms of personal likes and dislikes, one of those I cannot like at all, because he is one of the representative so-called cultural figures who move in step with the Asahi Shimbun.
I have never once heard from his mouth the spirit that Japan is a wonderful country and that it must lead the world together with the United States.
He says things that sound plausible, but what he is saying is the belittling of Japan, and it would not be an exaggeration at all to say that he is in fact degrading Japan.
NHK too is truly a hopelessly incoherent organization.
From the end of the year into the New Year, it aired the wonderful program The World Is Full of Things We Want, though never in the golden hour.
That is why I first learned of the program only at the end of the year.
Meanwhile, on New Year’s Day in the golden hour, it brings on people like Kengo Kuma and broadcasts truly foolish things like minimalist living, with Tamori, himself a high-income earner, serving as MC.
There can be no doubt that the people producing this program are the very people embodying the rule that communists control an organization with five percent.
That is because they always speak of things in the language of pseudo-moralism.
They never speak of making Japan prosperous and strong.
They never speak of making their own country prosperous, strong, and vigorous.
They continue anti-nuclear reporting and cling to the Constitution made by GHQ, a Constitution that it is no exaggeration to say was designed to weaken Japan permanently.
Who, exactly, rejoices in leaving untouched a Constitution that says Japan shall possess no military for self-defense, something all countries in the world possess?
China, a state ruled by the evil of one-party Communist dictatorship, and South Korea under Syngman Rhee, the lowest kind of opportunistic thief in history.
He not only seized, killed, and detained Japanese fishermen at will, but also stole Takeshima, and by daily instilling into the people the lie that it was their territory, began what can only be called Nazism under the name of anti-Japan education.
South Korea, and North Korea as well, are anti-Japan states that have continued this for seventy years after the war, and there is nowhere else but these two countries where such a thing exists. Yet NHK and the Asahi Shimbun continue to create public opinion opposed to constitutional revision.
What on earth does this signify?
People of Japan, you must not go on absentmindedly watching NHK’s reporting and subscribing to papers like the Asahi Shimbun.
If I were to say here, for the first time to Japan and the world, the proper way to use the phrase they have long incanted at you, “for the sake of the next generation and the generation after that,” it would be this.
If you wish Japan to be a prosperous, strong, and righteous country, and to continue leading the world for another 170 years, then what you have been doing up to now is the exact opposite.
You have only been helping to create a Japan that obeys China and the Korean Peninsula, and far from leading the world, a Japan that will continue to be trampled by the evil of the two worst countries in history.
In other words, what you have been doing up to now is serving as agents for China and the Korean Peninsula.
And not even for free, but while continuing to have extracted from you astronomical sums of Japanese taxpayers’ money, far exceeding 10 trillion yen.
There is nothing lower, nothing more foolish, nothing more stupid anywhere in the world.
To borrow the favorite phrase of Atsushi Yamada, one of the worst former Asahi Shimbun reporters, that is precisely what has happened to the people’s blood-earned taxes.
Unbelievably, they have continued to be handed over to the only two abnormal anti-Japan states in the world, the evil empires of China and the Korean Peninsula.
Who was it that incited such utter folly?
It was you.
No one other than you, who continued to watch NHK and subscribe only to newspapers like the Asahi Shimbun.
In other words, you have been neatly ruled all along by a mere five percent of people.
And even though it became decisively clear in August four years ago what kind of people are among that five percent, you are still being brainwashed by them even now.
