Ninna-ji Omuro Sakura 2026/4/8 | Full Bloom and Blue Sky as a Home Concert | Mahler: Symphony No. 4, Movement III | Abbado & the Vienna Philharmonic

A little while ago, on Sachio Fujioka’s X, I learned the program of the Kansai Philharmonic’s regular concert on April 29.
I thought I would go and hear it, but I gave up because almost all the seats had already been sold.
So I immediately decided to listen to it on my large-screen TV, together with my photo collection from 2026/4/3, as a home concert.
What I added was the third movement of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.
The conductor was Abbado.
The orchestra was the Vienna Philharmonic.
It is an audio source officially provided on YouTube.
Thus, on April 8, 2026, together with the full-bloom Omuro cherry blossoms of Ninna-ji and the blue sky, I decided to savor it on my large-screen TV as a home concert.
Viewers around the world as well, please enjoy the April 29 Kansai Philharmonic concert, conducted by Sachio Fujioka at Symphony Hall, as your own home concert.
