Osaka Nakanoshima Rose Garden 2025 | Bringing Late Afternoon Osaka to the World | Natsuho Murata’s Historic Rome Performance | Haydn String Quartet No. 81 in G major, Hob.III:81, Op.77 No.1
May 7, 2025.
Osaka, Nakanoshima Rose Garden.
I must say, this photo collection is truly splendid.
Every year, I photographed the rose garden at the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden.
Then one year, I remembered that there was also a magnificent rose garden in Nakanoshima, Osaka.
Since then, I have visited it every year without fail to photograph it.
This collection is from my first visit there last year.
In the age of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Osaka was the greatest commercial city in the world.
Today, Osaka is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Some years ago, when the MLB All-Star team visited Japan and played at Osaka Dome, for example, Giambi was astonished that although it was a vast metropolis, there was not even a single piece of trash on the ground, and he was struck by its beauty and cleanliness.
Anyone who looks at the filth of major American cities and parts of Europe today will surely agree with his words.
I bring to the world Osaka at around 4:30 in the afternoon.
For the music, I used the opening work from the concert held in Rome by Natsuho Murata, the superlative genius violinist who appeared in Japan, the violinist of the century.
The piece used here is Joseph Haydn: String Quartet No. 81 in G major, Hob.III:81, Op.77 No.1, “Lobkowitz.”
Please enjoy it through to the end.
