To the People of Shiga: Voting for Yukiko Kada Means Handing Japan Over to Anti-Japanese States

Originally published on July 21, 2019.
This essay addresses the people of Shiga Prefecture and criticizes voting for Yukiko Kada, who was supported by the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party.
Referring to Kyoto University, left-wing ideology, Asahi Shimbun-style moralism, the history and culture of Shiga, Saicho, Mount Hiei, Miidera Temple, Fenollosa, Prince Otomo, Ishiyama-dera Temple, and Ki no Tsurayuki, it questions the self-awareness of Shiga residents as Japanese citizens.

Voting for Yukiko Kada, who is being backed by the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party, is synonymous with selling Japan to China and the Korean Peninsula, countries of “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies.”
I say this to the people of Shiga Prefecture.
Voting for Yukiko Kada, who is being backed by the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party, is synonymous with selling Japan to China and the Korean Peninsula, countries of “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies.”
She spent her student life in the Faculty of Agriculture at Kyoto University during an era when Kyoto University still bore the remnants of a time when a communist had been president of the university, and when there were countless left-wing childish-disease patients among both professors and students.
That is why she is the way she is now.
That is why she can happily run as a candidate backed by the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party.
She is absolutely not a person capable of dealing with the international situation now surrounding Japan.
To begin with, as can also be seen from the Kumano Dormitory issue, there are countless people who enter Kyoto University and come out of it.
The man who, as governor of Niigata Prefecture, tormented the president and chairman of TEPCO in the most陰湿 and vicious way possible was also a Kyoto University graduate.
As my readers know, my criticism of this man was entirely correct.
Kada is merely a person who has a mind raised by subscribing to and carefully reading the Asahi Shimbun.
In truth, she understands neither Japan nor the world at all.
Voting to entrust national politics to a person who merely speaks exactly like the editorials of the Asahi Shimbun, with self-serving pseudo-moralism, is synonymous with selling Japan to anti-Japanese states.
Shiga has the townscape of Sakamoto, where Saicho was born; Mount Hiei, where he died; Miidera Temple; and the grave of Fenollosa.
As I have already written, on a hot summer day, Fenollosa came to greet me in the form of a butterfly.
When I go to visit Fenollosa, I always stop by the mausoleum of Prince Otomo, which is the smallest among the mausoleums of the imperial family, but which attracts my heart in an indescribable way.
Dragonflies always remain strangely still and welcome me there.
Near this mausoleum is…
a mausoleum that proves that ancient Japan ruled the Korean Peninsula…
a place that tells us that Silla was founded by people of Wa.
There are few places that have moved my heart as deeply as this place.
Shiga has Ishiyama-dera Temple, which gave birth to The Tale of Genji, and Shiga has Lake Biwa.
At one point, I keenly felt that Ki no Tsurayuki, who composed waka in hiragana, must be added to the list of great figures in Japanese history.
On the way from Cable Sakamoto Station to Mount Hiei…
Lake Biwa was once the finest scenic spot in Japan…
there was the residence he built in order to live while looking out over Lake Biwa,
and Shiga is where he died.
Voting for a person who, unlike appearances, is in reality nothing but a traitor to the nation, is an act of betraying Shiga Prefecture.
In other words, it is an act equivalent to voting not as a Japanese citizen, but as a Chinese citizen or a citizen of the Korean Peninsula.
