NHK’s Japan-Korea Coverage Is Manipulation Designed to Justify South Korea’s Tattletale Diplomacy

Published on August 4, 2019. This essay criticizes NHK’s coverage of Japan-Korea relations, arguing that it relies on biased interviews in South Korea, ignores South Koreans critical of the Moon Jae-in administration, manipulates impressions through ASEAN foreign-ministerial footage, and effectively justifies South Korea’s tattletale diplomacy.

If one asks whether NHK interviewed the officials of the various countries that South Korea is lobbying, it did not do so at all, but merely narrated that various countries are also concerned, as if those countries
I will inform the people of Miyagi Prefecture, Iwate Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, Niigata Prefecture, and Okinawa Prefecture, who subscribe to Asahi Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, Nikkei Shimbun, and the like, and who watch only NHK news programs, commercial television news programs, and wide shows, how NHK conducts biased reporting through the way it reports on the current Japan-Korea relationship.
The interviews inside South Korea are only with female students raised under anti-Japanese education and supporters of the Moon administration.
NHK does not report at all the opinions of the South Korean people, who account for more than half of the South Korean population, who oppose the politics of the Moon administration, beginning with Professor Lee Young-hoon, a representative conscientious scholar who directly criticizes South Korea’s anti-Japanese stance.
At ASEAN, held in Bangkok, NHK showed South Korea’s female foreign minister as if she had reason on her side, or else showed this woman vividly, while the footage of Foreign Minister Kono showed him looking downward.
Although the sight of the female foreign minister speaking into Pompeo’s ear was precisely tattletale diplomacy itself, NHK did not criticize it at all.
On the contrary, when Foreign Minister Kono turned his face toward this female foreign minister’s shameless behavior, as if to say, “What on earth are you doing?” NHK cut out that scene as though he were looking at it anxiously, and explained it in that way.
In other words, NHK continues to carry out the most cowardly and malicious impression manipulation.
If one asks whether NHK interviewed the officials of the various countries that South Korea is lobbying, it did not do so at all, but merely narrated that various countries are also concerned,
and reported as if those countries were agreeing with South Korea’s arguments.
The reality is the opposite of NHK’s reporting, and there is probably not a single country that would support South Korea’s nonsensical and disgraceful activities.
Probably even China would not.
China is a country that looks down on South Korea to the utmost,
and since Samsung’s decline due to the present regulations would be a cause for great celebration for China’s rival manufacturers, China would all the more likely turn a deaf ear.
Above all, for China, while the United States is thoroughly serious and is tightening the screws with tariffs, saying that it will no longer allow China’s arrogance to grow any further,
Japan’s financial strength, technological power, and product groups are a lifeline.
China has no time to listen to the absurd talk of a small country like South Korea.
If, here, Japan were also to align completely with the United States, then Xi Jinping’s dictatorial politics would finally be at the end.
Therefore, China has no time to go along with South Korea’s tattletale diplomacy.
These responses are exactly the same at the international conference RCEP held in China.
NHK continues desperately to report as if Japan were doing something wrong and South Korea were right,
but this is precisely proof that NHK is controlled by Chongryon, namely North Korea, and by patients of left-wing infantile disease.
NHK’s reporting on Japan-Korea relations
is no different from South Korea’s frantic confusion, looking this way and that in a shameless panic, a complete change from its arrogant and rude behavior until yesterday.
In response to the NO that Japan, for the first time after the war, resolutely issued against “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies,” saying, “Our patience has finally reached its limit,” the anti-Japanese leftists who control NHK’s news department have been overturned in panic.
It is the same as the Moon Jae-in administration in South Korea,
a topsy-turvy uproar, a great panic, and an astonished scurrying in all directions.
