The author, who stopped watching most Academy Awards and Hollywood films after Hollywood began pandering to China, criticizes Hollywood’s ignorance and hypocrisy after a Korean film won Best Picture, arguing that Hollywood knows nothing of Korea’s postwar anti-Japanese education and has historically failed to honor Japanese cinema properly.

Hollywood is so ignorant that it does not even know that genuine scholarship or art cannot possibly exist in a country that has continued Nazism under the name of anti-Japanese education for 75 years after the war.
Ever since Hollywood began currying favor with China, I have hardly watched the Academy Awards or Hollywood films.
One could also say that I reached the limit of watching the hypocrisy of actors who, despite being extremely highly paid, are often supporters of the Democratic Party.
Just now, while watching a recorded edition of Watch 9, I was stunned to hear that a Korean film had been selected for Best Picture.
Hollywood’s absurdity has reached its limit.
Hollywood is so ignorant that it does not even know that genuine scholarship or art cannot possibly exist in a country that has continued Nazism under the name of anti-Japanese education for 75 years after the war.
Hollywood will not even notice that this act itself is siding with the real Nazis, in the sense of truth and falsehood regarding the fact that Korea has frequently called Japan Nazi.
To begin with, Hollywood does not know what kind of country Korea is, and it knows nothing at all about the reality of anti-Japanese education.
Hollywood, which once plagiarized Japanese cinema in heaps, yet never once awarded an Oaks to Mizoguchi, Ozu, Kurosawa… or to Japanese film, has now committed the absurdity of awarding Best Picture to a Korean film of that level.
All people of insight will surely think that I was right to stop watching.
