The Madness of Asahi Shimbun Seen in Shukan Asahi: A Media Organization Turned into a Running Dog of the Chinese Communist Party

On March 6, 2020, while glancing through Shukan Asahi in the waiting room of my dentist, I was once again appalled by the abnormality of the Asahi Shimbun. Although it was China that concealed the new coronavirus, spread it around the world, and still hid the truth, Asahi ran headlines suggesting that the Abe administration was hiding something. By continuing to invoke the Cherry Blossom Viewing Party and the Moritomo theater, Asahi has ceased to be a proper media organization and has become a group of madmen serving as a running dog of the Chinese Communist Party.

March 6, 2020
A little while ago, in the waiting room of the dentist I regularly visit, I casually opened Shukan Asahi.
I was appalled.
Has Asahi gone mad?
The present Asahi Shimbun is a gathering of madmen.
When I think that I had subscribed to such a thing for a long time until August six years ago,
I truly shudder.
Back when I watched TBS’s News 23 at the end of each day,
knowing nothing whatsoever about Tetsuya Chikushi being a Korean resident in Japan,
there was a time when he, of all things, held a round-table style discussion with Roh Moo-hyun as if Roh were a politician on the same level as Kennedy.
At that time, I did think,
“Come on, that cannot be right.”
This Tetsuya Chikushi, too, came from the Asahi Shimbun.
What on earth has happened to their brains?
They are things made up of MacArthur’s brainwashing,
the operations of China and the Korean Peninsula,
pseudo-moralism,
and pseudo-political correctness.
When we think that Japan was ruled by such people until August six years ago,
we cannot face the many great figures who have lived since the beginning of recorded history.
A huge headline saying that the Abe administration is concealing something under cover of the coronavirus uproar.
Even though it is already a well-known fact throughout the world that it is China that concealed it,
spread it all over the world,
and is still concealing the truth,
the people of the Asahi Shimbun write such nonsense with straight faces.
They have gone so mad that they do not even realize that this is equivalent to declaring:
“We are running dogs of the Chinese Communist Party.”
Inside the magazine, there are pages about the Cherry Blossom Viewing Party and so on.
To top it off, they describe Kagoike as something like the Green Juice Prince,
and write of the “great revival of the Moritomo theater.”
Is this a proper news organization, a proper organ of speech?
Is it acceptable for such a thing to be treated favorably as an organ of speech?
Is it not below even the Tokyo Sports of the distant past?
When Toru Hashimoto said from atop a campaign car at a street speech,
“The Asahi Shimbun is below toilet paper…”
I was on my way home, and I still remember that, while listening, I wanted to shout out loud,
“That is exactly right.”
His words are entirely correct.
Shukan Asahi is not merely below toilet paper.
It is an unbelievable weekly magazine published by a group of madmen.
