China’s Attempt to Rewrite Responsibility for the Wuhan Virus: Yoshiko Sakurai Warns of Its Ambition to Dominate the World Through Medicine

Referring to Yoshiko Sakurai’s column in Weekly Shincho, this article discusses the danger of China shifting responsibility for the Wuhan virus onto the United States and rewriting history. It criticizes China’s information warfare over the name and origin of the Wuhan virus, comparing it to its fabrications over the Nanjing Massacre and the comfort women issue.

Faced with such brazen lies, Japanese people, who were raised to believe that one must not tell lies, do not know how to react; they laugh, and then sigh deeply.
We must not take China’s schemes lightly.
The following is from the serial column by Yoshiko Sakurai, who, together with Masayuki Takayama, adorns the closing pages of Weekly Shincho.
This essay, published in this week’s issue, also clearly proves that she is a “national treasure” in the sense defined by Saicho.
This article is addressed especially to the people of Indonesia, who are ignorant and foolish beyond measure.
China seeks to dominate the world through pharmaceuticals.
As the whole world is thrown into confusion by the onslaught of the Wuhan virus, there is one country that is staring intently at the situation and thinking about how to use this chaos, playing a grand chess game on the stage of the world.
That country is none other than China.
They are the very perpetrators who mishandled the initial response to the Wuhan virus and spread it not only throughout China but across the entire world.
As a result, as of March 24, the number of infected people worldwide had reached 374,921, and the death toll had risen to 16,381.
In every country and every industry, economies are suffering from historically unprecedented drops and declines.
China has, quite literally, brought pestilence upon the entire world.
If Japan had been the source of infection, both the Japanese government and the Japanese people would surely have sent heartfelt apologies to the whole world.
China, however, is doing the exact opposite.
On March 4, Xinhua, the mouthpiece media of the Chinese government, made the following claim in an editorial:
“We have the right to say that the United States should apologize to China, and that the world should thank China.”
As is widely known, they are now manipulating information to make it appear as if the virus that originated in Wuhan had actually originated in the United States.
Faced with such brazen lies, Japanese people, who were raised to believe that one must not tell lies, do not know how to react; they laugh, and then sigh deeply.
We must not take China’s schemes lightly.
We must understand how zealously and persistently they rewrite facts.
As a result, falsehoods that did not contain even a fragment of truth have come to be recognized as facts.
We Japanese have suffered repeatedly from this kind of Chinese fabrication.
Both the “Nanjing Massacre” and the “comfort women sex slaves” have been fabricated by China.
These fabrications spread throughout the world, and a certain international public opinion that believes them has been formed.
At first, the Japanese thought that because these lies were so transparent, they would be forgotten with the passage of time, but the reality turned out to be exactly the opposite.
Therefore, this time as well, we must never allow the origin of the Wuhan virus to be rewritten.
For that reason, I call this virus not by the confusing name COVID-19, but the Wuhan virus.
To be continued.
