Sendai Ikuei vs. Hanasaki Tokuharu was not only an excellent matchup; it was also a game involving Sendai Ikuei, the representative school from my beloved home prefecture, so I began watching it as soon as the Dodgers game ended.
During the high school baseball broadcast, a news report came on.
It reported that 41 countries, including the United States, had issued a joint statement calling for sufficient advance notification before the launch of ballistic missiles and similar weapons, without explicitly naming any particular country.
However, given that China had recently launched a strategic missile from a nuclear-powered submarine into international waters in the Pacific, and that serious concerns had been raised by various countries because the advance notice was given only a few hours beforehand and was insufficient in detail, it is perfectly clear what this joint statement had in mind.
China has responded by arguing that the launch was part of a routine military exercise, that it complied with international law and international practice, that the countries concerned had been notified in advance, and that it was not directed at any particular country or target.
Listening to China’s response, I was once again reminded of the very essence of the Chinese Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship: calling black white and white black.
I therefore thought that I must have written many times in the past about this characteristic of China, and searched through my previous blog posts.
The first chapter I found was the one reproduced below.
Yet the title of this chapter itself did not appear at all in the search results.
I have therefore changed the title here and am republishing it to the world exactly as I wrote it on April 14, 2020, without altering a single word of the original text.
In the wake of the Wuhan virus catastrophe, I argue that the G7 nations other than Italy, together with the entire liberal-democratic camp, must unite firmly against China. I address the Chinese Communist Party’s military ambitions toward Taiwan and the Senkaku Islands, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Shi Zhengli, the need for the Chinese people to overthrow Communist one-party dictatorship, and the necessity for countries throughout the world to demand compensation for the damage they have suffered.

I am republishing the chapter that I republished on March 23.
Why?
Because, as I pointed out in this chapter, now is precisely the time when the G7 nations other than Italy, together with the countries that, like us, uphold intelligence, freedom, and democracy as national principles, must unite firmly against China and demonstrate an unwavering position.
Xi Jinping must surely sense that the people are turning away from him.
That is why he repeatedly sends vessels into the territorial waters surrounding the Senkaku Islands day after day and why, on the 11th, he sent the aircraft carrier Liaoning through the waters between Okinawa and Miyakojima.
It is no exaggeration to say that the CCP conceals all information.
In addition, when it comes to national security, it is no exaggeration to describe the Japanese mass media as a collection of the greatest fools in the world.
But the CCP is different.
They are the very embodiment of bottomless evil and plausible lies, the incarnation of scheming and political intrigue.
The rapid spread of the Wuhan virus in the United States has reached the point where I am even made to wonder whether it could be an act of terrorism by China.
An attempt to weaken the United States as much as possible.
There would be nothing surprising if the CCP were to launch an invasion of Taiwan and seize the Senkaku Islands tomorrow.
Indeed, the United States and the U.S. military may be the only ones in the world that have detected signs of such a move.
That is precisely why, from the 10th to the 11th, a U.S. Navy destroyer passed through the Taiwan Strait and sailed through waters on the Chinese side of the median line between mainland China and Taiwan.
Japan’s foolish mass media completely fail to understand the significance of this.
The same is true of a Europe steeped in pseudo-moralism and pseudo-political correctness.
In other words, unlike Europe, which bears no genuine responsibility for crises affecting the world—or, more simply, an irresponsible Europe—the United States sees through China’s malicious intentions perfectly.
Do not even dream, CCP, that the U.S. military has been weakened by the virus disaster.
We are watching everything.
We know what you are plotting, and we will never allow you to do it.
There can be no doubt that this is the absolute determination of the United States and the U.S. military.
China currently controls a large share of pharmaceutical production, and, moreover, this is a time when popular sentiment has completely turned away from Xi Jinping.
He is undoubtedly exploring the possibility of an invasion.
The United States and the U.S. military have detected this.
The only people who remain unaware of matters of such gravity are the very people I have repeatedly referred to.
China spread the Wuhan virus throughout the world, yet has not even uttered a word of apology.
China has extracted historically enormous sums of money from Japan through various fabrications concerning the Nanjing Massacre, poison gas, Unit 731, and other issues.
But China, listen.
That this Wuhan virus was spread throughout the world by China is, in my view, a fact clearly understood by people throughout the world, with the exception of WHO’s Tedros and countries that have been buried in debt to China.
China, what are you going to do?
You extracted enormous sums of money from Japan through fabrications, but this time the matter is, in my view, an unmistakable fact.
Perhaps in order to escape paying compensation for the immense damage inflicted on the world, China has now begun making statements as though it were itself the victim.
There have even been reports that China has gone so far as to claim that the United States brought the virus into China.
It is no exaggeration whatsoever to say that there is only one lesson the world must learn from China’s actions, which have placed the entire world in danger.
That lesson is this:
Never again must the world allow China—the China ruled by a Communist dictatorship—to grow arrogant and unchecked.
Japan, being China’s neighbor, is the country that suffers most from that growing arrogance and has continued to suffer from it.
But the Japanese people must understand that this has been true of postwar Japan.
From thousands of years ago until the prewar period, Japan was never continuously deceived by China, a country which I describe as one of bottomless evil and plausible lies.
That is because the countless great figures Japan has produced throughout its recorded history understood the evil of China.
Japan has continued to suffer because the people who have dominated newspapers such as the Asahi Shimbun and television media such as NHK became servants of China.
Japan must immediately shut out this damage, taking the present catastrophe as its lesson.
For Japan, and for the world, what is absolutely necessary in order to accomplish that is the swift revision of the Constitution imposed on Japan by GHQ immediately after the war—a Constitution intended to weaken Japan permanently and, one could even say, to bring about its eventual destruction.
Even an elementary-school child can understand that China’s status as a major nuclear-armed power is one of the principal factors behind its present arrogance.
Japan must immediately become a major nuclear-armed power and stop China’s aggression.
China must be constantly monitored.
China’s research and production of biological and chemical weapons must be stopped immediately.
This is all the more so because, on this matter, Japan alone has the right to speak, as Japan is, in my view, the only country in the world that does not conduct research into or manufacture biological and chemical weapons.
The time when the world should recognize the evil of China came long ago.
The wife of Canada’s prime minister was infected.
A Brazilian government official who had been close to President Trump was later found to be infected.
Above all, looking at the situation in Italy, I believed the probability was becoming increasingly high that the Wuhan virus originated from work connected with its development as a biological or chemical weapon in China.
The person responsible, I believed, was probably Shi Zhengli, a female scientist and “P4” researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, whom Masayuki Takayama had recently brought to my attention.
The following is a chapter that I republished on March 28.
Lu Xun said that the Chinese people would remain slaves forever—that is to say, that they possessed a slave mentality, or existed in a state of subordination, and that subordination was their normal condition.
But today’s Chinese people can no longer be permitted simply to resign themselves to such literary words written by a historically renowned author.
The Chinese Communist Party was never a victorious nation in any true sense.
Yet after driving out the Kuomintang, it simply substituted itself into that position.
Then, astonishingly, it even acquired a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council and enjoyed the fruits of the postwar world.
During the past several decades in particular, China has been one of the greatest beneficiaries of the postwar international order.
Yet it is inflicting what I regard as the greatest postwar damage upon that very world to which it owes so much, especially upon the advanced nations.
There is only one way for the Chinese people to atone for what I regarded as the greatest postwar wrongdoing inflicted upon the world.
They must immediately overthrow the one-party dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party.
There is no other way for them to make amends to the world.
Some commentators say that the one-party dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party cannot collapse because it has established authoritarian control.
But there is not even any need to resort to the cliché that nothing is absolute.
In reality, the one-party dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party could collapse very quickly.
Suppose that tomorrow the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people simply did not go to work.
If that situation continued for one week, it would be no exaggeration to say that the Chinese Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship would collapse.
Xi Jinping, whose face, in my view, reveals that he is in fact an extremely timid man—and therefore a dictator—would realize that his end had arrived if the majority of the people simply stopped going to work for several days, creating what in Communist terminology would be called sabotage.
However, at such a moment there is something for which the world must be absolutely prepared.
If Xi Jinping concluded that he had no moves left and had been driven into a corner, there would be a strong possibility that, before deciding to relinquish power, he would launch an invasion of Taiwan or the Senkaku Islands in order to divert public criticism away from himself.
At that moment, the world must unite and tell Xi Jinping:
Italy may very well refuse to join us, but a country that has fallen into such foolishness can simply be left aside.
The participating countries in the Belt and Road Initiative are, after all, merely a collection of junk and are irrelevant.
If you say you are going to invade Taiwan, your opponent will not be Taiwan.
All of us in the free world will fight you.
In other words, Taiwan will not be your opponent.
Every country in the liberal camp will be your opponent.
If you still intend to do it, then come.
The soldiers on our side are different from the forces in your country, who merely wear the outward cap of Communism while, in reality, possessing no genuine loyalty to the state and functioning merely as collections of clans and family interests.
Our people are prepared to die willingly for the countries they love.
Perhaps, foolish as you are, you cannot even understand that none of your soldiers possesses any true conception of a beloved country.
The moment our global forces and your military opened hostilities, most of your soldiers would flee.
No.
Before that happened, you yourself would probably be purged.
You must remain timid precisely because you know that this is the normal condition of Communist one-party rule.
There is not even a one-in-ten-thousand path by which you could defeat the world.
To begin with, you are merely a naked emperor, and no person of sound intelligence takes you seriously.
A handful of people who call black white, ruling the people through propaganda and fear.
A country in which even those rulers do not trust their own nation, and instead place their children and their assets in our world, beginning with the United States.
There is now only one course the Chinese people must take in order to atone to humanity.
If the Chinese people take that course, the world will probably refrain from demanding enormous compensation.
Why?
Because our world, unlike China and the Korean Peninsula as I described them, is not a world built upon bottomless evil and plausible lies.
But if the Chinese people do nothing, then the nations of the world must begin calculating the enormous damages each has suffered so that, as soon as the Wuhan virus pandemic comes to an end, they will be prepared to demand compensation from China.
Let me provide what I regard as an extremely useful example.
China buried its own chemical weapons, fabricated the claim that they had been left by the Japanese military, and extracted one trillion yen from Japan over that case alone.
The Nanjing Massacre, Unit 731, exploitation of erroneous reporting concerning history textbooks, and so forth.
The total, I believe, would amount to no less than ten trillion yen.
The damage the world is suffering this time, however, is not, in my view, a fabrication.
It is a stark reality that people throughout the world are watching every day and experiencing through their suffering.
It goes without saying that the amount claimed from China would therefore reach several times, or even dozens of times, the amount of money that, in my view, China extracted from Japan through fabrication.
