Words, Intelligence, Truth, and the Joy of Being Alive — My Mission Through Writing, Photography, and Music

January 25, 2012
There are many people in the world who buy books because they want to hear lessons on how to live in this world.
I, too, may sometimes write a book about life lessons.
It may convey a powerful message of a kind one rarely encounters.
Above all, I think.
From now on, in the e-book mentioned above, I will show you many of the photographs I have taken, as though in a film.
I am certain that you will discover many of the finest life lessons within them.
They will help you and become vitamins for your heart.
When you are tired, when you have grown weary, when you are tormented, when you have been tormented by the evils of this world, the greed of capitalism, etc.,
Please listen to my words, my photographs, and my music.
To kindle a light in the intelligence within you, I will deliver my words, photographs, and music to you every day, as long as it is not too late.
I write.
I will continue to write the words that have been my mission.
I will write “Boxer,” “My Forty-First Visit to Hawaii,” “MacArthur’s Satisfaction,” “Anna Karenina in the Twenty-First Century,” and Volume II of “The Turntable of Civilization” simultaneously, together with my photographs—that is, my pictures.
Every day, I will write something that at least 1,000 of the approximately 2,500 people who now read my work daily will read.
I will also reveal the reason for this in whichever of the above works I begin writing first.
For example, a newspaper serial novel would require me to write approximately 1,000 characters every day, and I have already written more than that on many occasions.
From now on, I will either write 1,000 characters every day or publish at least 130 photographs a day, photographs that amount to more than 1,000 characters.
Either way, I will convey to you, deliver to you, words, intelligence, the truth of this world, and the joy of being alive.
