この大屋根リングに抱かれて誕生する「国立万博2025記念植物園」は、配置と広大さにおいて世界的に名高いロンドン・キュー植物園を凌駕する規模を誇り、世界最大・最高の植物園として人類史に刻まれることになります。
これまで東京に比して、都市の内部に圧倒的に緑＝森の空間が不足していた大阪に、ついに「史上最高の森＝植物園」が誕生します。ここは、四季折々の花と芳香に満ちた森であり、未来都市の象徴であり、そして次世代に受け継ぐべき人類共通のレガシーとなるのです。
🌸 春 ― 森に訪れる祝祭
梅園（2〜3月）：白梅と紅梅が春を告げる。
桜園（3〜4月）：大屋根リングの内側に広がる、しだれ桜とソメイヨシノ、2000本規模の桜並木。その景観は「吉野の千本桜」の現代版ともいえる圧巻の美しさ。**大屋根リングから眺める『大阪の千本桜』**は、都市に甦った日本文化の象徴として未来に語り継がれるでしょう。

🌿 Introductory Lead
The Grand Roof Ring, the architectural symbol of Expo 2025 Osaka–Kansai, is the largest wooden structure in human history and must be recognized as a National Treasure. Encompassing this monumental creation, the National Expo 2025 Memorial Botanical Garden will surpass even the world-renowned Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in London in scale and layout, establishing itself as the world’s largest and finest botanical garden. Unlike Tokyo, where greenery and forests have been relatively abundant, Osaka has long suffered from a lack of inner-city green space. Now, with this project, the greatest “forest-as-garden” in history will arise in Osaka — a forest filled with seasonal blossoms and fragrances, a symbol of the future city, and a legacy to be shared by humanity.

Plum Garden (Feb–Mar): White and red blossoms herald the arrival of spring.
Cherry Blossom Garden (Mar–Apr): Within the Grand Roof Ring, over 2,000 cherry trees — both weeping cherries and Somei-Yoshino — burst into bloom. This breathtaking sight is the modern counterpart of Yoshino’s Thousand Cherry Blossoms.
