The Incompetence of Tamaki Yuichiro and the Democratic Party Exposed in the Diet

During a live NHK broadcast of the Japanese Diet, the contradictions and incompetence of Tamaki Yuichiro and the Democratic Party were laid bare. The article criticizes their disregard of the fact that the land in question was contaminated and therefore nearly worthless, and exposes the coordinated attacks by left-leaning media and public figures.

At this moment, NHK is broadcasting a live session of the National Diet.
The incompetence of the Democratic Party, as represented by Yuichiro Tamaki, has suddenly been laid bare.

As is well known, together with the Mainichi Shimbun and the Asahi Shimbun, they have relentlessly attacked the government by claiming that the selling price of the land—so cheap that any real estate agent would recognize it as virtually worthless—was problematic.

That very man absented himself without permission from the Budget Committee to conduct an on-site inspection, and whether or not he came into contact with some unidentified individual at the site is unknown, but while protesting the refusal to summon that person as a witness to the Diet, he made the following statement.

He argued that the soil contamination beneath the land had not been properly removed and transported elsewhere, and that it remained buried beneath the area designated as the school playground.

Workers had testified that the ammonia stench was so strong that they could not even eat their meals.
If an elementary school were to be built there, he said, it would pose a serious threat to the health of children.
For that reason, he claimed, the person had agreed to appear as a witness at the request of the Democratic Party.

Tamaki then stated that the refusal to allow a sworn testimony was therefore a serious problem.

The childishness, cruelty, maliciousness, and incoherence of this political party, together with the media such as the Asahi Shimbun and the Mainichi Shimbun, and the so-called cultural figures who have echoed them, are beyond description, and this is something that the people of Japan and the world must come to understand.

Needless to say, it was precisely because the land had been so heavily contaminated that workers were unable even to eat their meals due to the ammonia stench, that it was all the more a piece of land worth next to nothing.
