While Korea and China Expand Nuclear Power, Only Japan Was Pushed Toward “Denuclearization” — The Proven Falsehood of Masayoshi Son

South Korea and China officially decided to massively expand nuclear power plants.
At the same time, Japan alone was driven into a so-called “anti-nuclear” narrative.
Masayoshi Son’s statements praising Korean nuclear safety are directly contradicted by Korea’s own aggressive expansion plans concentrated along the Sea of Japan.

As readers already know, both South Korea and China officially decided, at the government level, to massively expand nuclear power generation.
I had previously written in detail about the exact numbers involved.
However, thinking that first-time readers might benefit from a reminder, I searched the internet again.

The very first article that appeared was the one shown below.

All bold emphasis and the sections marked with asterisks are mine.

This was broadcast on television that I happened to be watching while I was hospitalized for seven months with a life-threatening illness.
At the same time, this article proves one hundred percent how Masayoshi Son has spoken only out of convenience for himself.

It also irrefutably demonstrates that my long-standing criticism of him was entirely correct.

Son stated in South Korea that “denuclearization is Japan’s issue” and that “Korea is clearly different from earthquake-prone Japan,” praising what he called the safely operated Korean nuclear power plants.
The claim that Korean nuclear plants are ‘safely operated’ is something Korean citizens themselves would read with deep skepticism.

Meanwhile, the Korean government selected Samcheok and Yeongdeok, both facing the Sea of Japan, as new nuclear power plant construction sites.
Up to four reactors each are planned, for a total of eight.

Furthermore, the Korean government officially decided to construct nineteen new nuclear reactors by 2030.
Fifteen of the twenty-one reactors currently in operation are already concentrated along the Sea of Japan, and all new reactors are also planned for that same coastline.

In light of these facts, the true nature of Masayoshi Son’s statements requires no further explanation.
