BS Fuji’s “Prime News” Reveals the Reality of China’s Military Expansion and Japan’s Self-Defense Forces

Viewers of BS Fuji’s “Prime News” witnessed clear evidence of China’s military expansion and the vital role played daily by Japan’s Self-Defense Forces.
The program exposed the emptiness of China-aligned narratives promoted by certain media, intellectuals, and opposition politicians, while also proving the recklessness of former U.S. President Obama’s statement that America is no longer the world’s policeman.

Last night, viewers who watched the BS Fuji program Prime News, titled “Land, Sea, and Air: Former Commanders Speak—How Will the Self-Defense Forces Respond to China’s Military Expansion?”, must all have come to the same realization.

They would have thought that media outlets such as Asahi Shimbun, along with so-called intellectuals who have long echoed these views, and opposition politicians who merely parrot such ideology after being indoctrinated by it, have done little more than spread narratives effectively shaped by China.

At the same time, the program also demonstrated just how foolish former President Obama’s statement—“The United States is no longer the world’s policeman”—truly was, a point I have mentioned repeatedly.

After that statement, China unilaterally drew its arbitrary air defense identification lines.
Since then, the number of scrambles by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force in response to Chinese military aircraft approaching Japan’s airspace has skyrocketed.

A former Air Self-Defense Force commander explained how critically important it is to reach one’s own airspace first—an understanding born of countless scramble missions.
Most viewers must have felt ashamed of their own lack of awareness, while bowing their heads in respect upon realizing how tirelessly the Self-Defense Forces work day and night for the sake of Japan.

This series continues.
