The Same Disgraceful Tactics Repeated Again— Asahi’s Conduct Has Not Changed —
Last night’s television coverage revealed that Asahi Shimbun’s manipulative tactics remain unchanged.
The same methods used during the Comfort Women controversy were repeated under the guise of criticizing security legislation.
Such reporting undermines Japan’s national interests in an increasingly unstable world.

Among those who watched Hōdō Station last night, anyone who understood Asahi’s methods must surely have felt anger upon realizing once again that the childish and malicious conduct of the Asahi Shimbun has not changed at all.
Last night’s broadcast, aimed at criticizing the security legislation and the Abe administration, came at a time when the world has changed dramatically and is now completely different from what it once was, particularly as China, a one-party communist dictatorship, commits acts that fear neither man nor God, brazenly calling white black while committing incursions against the Senkaku Islands and unleashing unchecked brutality in the South China Sea.
As if to prove that the apology made in August the year before last was nothing more than a façade, they last night carried out the very same disgraceful act as in the Comfort Women issue, when they brought forward Yoshimi Yoshiaki of Chuo University, made their fabricated articles appear to be truth, induced the creation of the Kōno Statement, and forced Kiichi Miyazawa, during his visit to South Korea, to bow his head eight times.
At the time, 99.9 percent of Japanese people likely had never heard of Yoshimi.
Last night, they instead brought out a so-called civilian researcher whom literally no one knew, ran endless footage featuring even Kishi Nobusuke, and, treating him as if he were an omniscient and omnipotent god, Asahi and a young man named Kimura delivering commentary proceeded to criticize the Japanese state and the Japanese government.
As for me, I finally muted the sound midway through and waited for the sports segment to begin.
