The Greatest Folly: Cultural Elites Who Echo Asahi Shimbun

The most foolish figures are the so-called cultural elites who side with the Asahi Shimbun, gleefully quoting remarks by a German journalist that openly demean Japan and the Japanese people. Their failure to recognize ignorance and racial condescension reveals a fundamental collapse of intellectual responsibility.

The most foolish individual is the so-called cultural intellectual who wrote this essay while siding with the Asahi Shimbun.
The folly of gleefully introducing the words of a German who completely looks down on Japan and the Japanese people is beyond description.
That this person fails to recognize that the German reporter’s condescending attitude toward Japan is nothing more than ignorance combined with an incorrigible sense of racial discrimination against people of color leaves no other conclusion than that such stupidity is beyond remedy.
